Tyranitar, Houndoom, Feraligatr, Sudowoodo, Espeon, Umbreon, Crobat, Scizor, Piloswine. Every one of the Legendaries is perfect. And then you can go back to Kanto for a reworked version of the original challenge. It’s disgusting how much hate Johto gets, how many people overlook Crystal in discussions of the best Pokemon games – oh, who am I kidding?...

Summary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revengeis the best TMNT game of all time. There’s some strong competition with Turtles in Time,Splintered Fate, and even hidden gems like the 2007 movie tie-in, butTribute Games’ masterpiece is second to none when it comes to turtle-y awesome games. I thought as much two years ago when Shredder’s Revenge first launched, and it’s only gotten better with time. The excellent Dimension Shellshock DLC, which added a new mode alongside Usagi and Karai,pushed it even closer to perfection and set a new bar that I didn’t think could be lept over....

Summary PDP has been shrinking Sonic characters down to size, turning them into figurines, and trapping them inside transparent controllers for a little over a year. Conspicuous by his absence has been Shadow, especially since2024 has been the Year Of Shadow. Turns out PDP was just waiting for the right moment to reveal its Shadow controller, and the launch week ofSonic x Shadow Generationsis exactly that. Controllers in PDP’s Realmz collection are made of clear plastic so that the tiny characters trapped in their handles are clearly visible....
