Getting to max level inThrone And Liberty- currently capped at level 50 - can take only around 10–15 hours if you know what you’re doing. While we don’t recommend you just rush through T&L, as there are some pretty good story moments and full-on cutscenes, there might be moments where you are caught between levels.
The different adventures - the different chapters of the story - are also level-capped. You might need to do some grinding between possible chapters. That’s primarily what this guide will cover, as well as give you some important tips about leveling as we go.
Main Story Quest
This is the main way of leveling up in Throne And Liberty as it provides the most experience. The story is divided intoten chaptersand each chapter provides rewards alongsidecodex rewardsfor completing extra side content.
The fastest way to level up is simple:
If you really want to speed through leveling, you can ignore most co-op and secret dungeons, dynamic events, and pretty much anything else. You can reach max cap quickly this way over the course of 10 or so hours.
Leveling Your Gear
Don’t worry about using your armor stones, accessory stones, etc. on lower level gear.Greens can be transferred to blues, and blues can be transferred to purples.
It’s a good idea just to keep yourself as strong as possible at each stage by leveling gear as you go.
You can make decisions about the items you want as BiS for your character and build when you reach level 50.
Skills
Skills are a little different as they can be more expensive to transfer across, as in the books used to do so are much rarer.
This means it’s a great idea to pick a build/class early on. Weapon Mastery is also very important and takes along timeto level up. Choose wisely, or you might regret the decision when you’ve invested a lot of time and materials into the weapons.
Resistance Contracts And Abyssal Contract Tokens
Not sure what these are? Check out our guides here for some info.
You shouldn’t reallydo either of these parts of content before you hit level 50, as you have a specific caps for both tasks.
Resistance Contracts offer the best rewards at level 50 and these are the sort of materials and items that you’ll spend a long time grinding for.
It makes sense to save all 60 Resistance Contract slots for when you hit max level to really start your grind.
The same goes for Abyssal Contract Tokens. This currency allows you to farm open world dungeons with your guild/party with the chance of getting high-level gear. You shouldn’t spend these on lower-level areaslike the Ant Nest unless you are completing codex content there.
Dynamic And World Events
Likewise, these events can largely be ignored for those who are power-leveling. To get the most out of these events, you want to betargeting the events that your guild have put up for a contractor if you’re looking to farm specific materials and gear.
