You’ll know things are getting dangerous when you enter the Specular Bay area inYs X: Nordicsand consistently find Griegr towers attacking you while the path forward is tiny at the same time. At the end of this region, you’ll find a floodgate blocking your path, and you’ll have to explore the Ruined City nearby to fix it.
Not only will you find the second main villain at the end of this area called Logr, but you’ll also have to solve quite a few puzzles to get there. Some of these puzzles also involve Adol and Karja acting separately, and here’s how you can solve them.
Ruined City Main Area Guide
The starting area of the Ruined Capital of Ribe will be filled with houses on the groundthat got submerged under the water long ago. To get past this area, enter through the main door and go forward until you can turn left anduse Gullinboard on some water. Get through this water and to the beach on the other side.
Here, you can climb on one of the huts anduse the Gullinboard boost there to get to the next area. After this, you simply have to keep moving forward and Gullinboard through another small pond to reach the end of this area.

Can be found on the dock rightbeside the disembark iconon the island.

Buried Treasure
3x Defroster
You’ll see a small water body on the left as you enter through the main door, and this treasure will be in thecorner of this water body.

3x Yellow Lump
Move straight from the main door and you’ll find this in the left corner.

Before going into the first set of waters, you canjump on the hut beside itand get this cluster.

3x Blacksilver Sand
You can take right from the first water body to go to an optional area withthis chest on the leftas soon as you enter.

Chest
3x Blue Lump
Can easily be found bymana sensing in the optional areafor the buried treasure above. To get to chest number six, you’ll have to use the boost from the small part of the hut pointing up.

You’ll see it on an elevated area in front as you’re crossing the waters.

1x Empty Bottle
Can be found in thecorner opposite to the hutafter crossing the first body of water.

You can easily spot it as you climb on the hut to get the Gullinboard boost.

Found on the right as soon as youget to the next areaafter using the Gullinboard boost.

Found behind the hut on the right after crossing to the second area.

Climb the hut beside chest 13 anduse the Gullinboardto get to this chest.

You’ll easily be able to locate this on another hut structure in the area.

Climb the tower in the middle of the second water body to get this.

After getting the crystal cluster 17, use Gullinboard to gothrough the hut structuresso that you’re able to get to the area with this treasure.

Pink Pearl Ring
From the buried treasure above, use the Gullinboard again to get to the red chest on the other side.

you’re able to easily jump up to this chest at the end of this area.
Floodgate Entrance Area Guide
As you first enter this area, simply go forward until you reach the stairs leading you into the main ruins. Here, you’ll have to interact with the statue toremove the bond between Adol and Karjasince you have to play this part separately. After removing the bond, step on the pedestal nearby as one character and take the other one into the door that opens.
Get through the first room and activate the lever at the end to open another door. After activating this, switch to the other character and go through the outskirts of the castle all the way to the end. You’ll findone window to your right on your way where you have to use your mana stringto activate the lever.
This might not work if you’re too close to the window and you’ll have to step back a bit.
Back on the inside part, get to the end of the next area and you’ll see a window towards the left at the end. Activate the lever through it andkeep going forward through the temporary bridge. You’ll soon meet a closed door where you have to continue with the other character. Reach the end of the room with them and activate another lever.
Finally, use the statue tobring the two backtogether and you can get to the next area.
3x Fishing Bait M
Found on the left as soon as you enter this area.
You’ll find it on anelevated area to the leftat the location.
3x Dark Lump
you’re able to see this in alittle archway to the rightas you enter the area.
Climb the stairs near the archway and you’re able to get to this one.
3x Silver Cheese
From the archway above, you canuse the Gullinboard boostnearby to get to this chest.
100x Basic Beast Parts
Found on the right corner as you’re about to enter the main ruins.
Found in front as you enter theinsides of the ruinwith one of the characters alone.
Found on the left corner as you go through theoutside of the castlewith the other character.
Chevalier Shield
You’ll be able to get to it using a bridge if you activate thewindow lever with the character on the outside.
You can climb some stairs to easily get this at the location.
3x Fishing Bait G
you’re able to easily jump to it through the temporary bridges on the inside.
Found on the right as soon as youenter the inner ruinswith the character who was on the outside.
3500x Gold
you’re able to use another temporary bridge to get to this chest in the same area as the cluster above.

Floodgate Interior And Sluices Guide
The last two parts of the Ruined Capital of Ribearea are fairly straightforward, and you’ll also find theLogr boss fight at the top of it. Here are all the chest locations for these areas:
3x Super Repair Kit
Both can easily be seen on your path through the area.
3x Red Lump
Can be seen on the right as yougo up the first giant staircasein the area.
Can be found near the pillar of the room with some enemies.
6x Blue Lump
Found at the same height as the cluster above in thecorner of the same room.
Mayura Amulet
Head into the small room with the lever and you’ll find this chest on the left.
4000x Gold
Found in the right corner rightbefore the exitof the interior area.
Taurus Ring
Both of these can be found in the room where you need to fix the floodgates after the Logr fight.
