The whole gameplay ofYs X: Nordicsrevolves around going to various islands and exploring them. While some of these islands are a part of the main story, others are optional but it’s still recommended to check them out for important items. Raufos Island is in the former category and quite an important one at that.
As you continue the story of Sonnelia Basin, you’ll find out thatJord is currently presentat the Griegr Fort on this island. If you want to confront her, you’ll have to solve many puzzles to get to the top.
Raufos Island Exterior Guide
As soon as you disembark on Raufos Island, you first have to take a small path all the way upuntil you reach the travel point just before entering the fort. You’ll also notice Hugill on the way here and you can stack up your inventory by interacting with it. Once you’re done here, you can enter the fort by getting near the wood structure and holding your mana string button.
After this, you’ll see a simple path on your left that’lllead you straight to the first interior part. To enter the interior, go to the window on the left of the door andhold your mana string to pull the lever, which will open the door.
If there’s any door that you have to unlock in Ys X: Nordics, there’s likely ahidden switch or lever nearbythat you may reveal with mana sense.
As you exit to the second part of the exterior, you have to move all the way to the left and then pull a box outside with your mana string. Past this, you have tohold your mana strings on the hooks that are getting moved by some chains. This will take you from one platform to another until you reach the top and enter the second interior.
In the last part of the exterior, you simply have to take the elevator up and you’ll find Jord at the top. You’ll have to defeat countless enemies andpurify three villagersin this area before you reach Jord.

Head down to the grassy area in the second part of the exterior and you’ll find thisnear some wooden cratesto the left.

You’ll find it in the corner as you’re about todrag out the boxin the grass area of the second exterior.

Raufos Island Interior Guide
There are two parts to the interior of Raufos Island, butthey’re both straightforward without any puzzles. Here’s how you may get all the treasure items on it:
Can be found on theright as soon as you enterthe first interior.

Can be seen in a small area near the stairs leading down.
3x Fishing Bait G
Found to the left as soon as you enter the interior part two.
Peculiar Harr Woodcarving
You’ll find this infront as you enterinto the second interior part.
you may easily see this tuckedbeside the stairs leading upat the end of the second part.
