While the start ofYs X: Nordicsmight be slow, it’ll quickly pick up once Carnac gets raided since you’ll consistently be introduced to cool characters including various villains like Jord and Odr. The latter will confront you with his ship before pushing you towards the Tyrant, which lands you on Termina Island.
This is quite a massive stretch of land that you’ll have to explore if you want to have a chance at fixing your ship. Not only will you be faced with various enemies, but also some puzzles along the way.
Termina Island Main Area Guide
The main surface area of Termina Island is divided into three parts, and you’llget to each subsequent part by going through a cave system. The first problem you’ll face on this island is the normal mobs since they’re quite agile and will dodge your attacks. Try to attack them normally to trigger their dodge and then instantly hit them with a damaging skill.
The process of getting through these surface areas is fairly easy, and here’s what you’ll need to do:

Crystal Cluster
Crystal Shards
As you move a bit forward on the island, you’llquickly notice this cluster to the rightin a small secluded place.

You’ll find this on the way when you start going through asmall path leading downinto the island.

Chest
3x Fishing Bait
This will be found on your right near some ruin structures as you’retrying to go to the top leftof the first area.

Gullinboard
Found on the top left of the first area to continue the quest.

Gale Boots
Once you cross over the swamp water with the Gullinboard,you can get this chest to your rightnear the tent merchant.

You’ll find it to your right as youstart progressing in the second areaof the surface.

While using the mana rail here,jump halfway to the cheston the island in the middle.

Can be seen in a corner to your right after you use the mana rail andprogress further into the area.

When near the second cave entrance, use the cyan-colored boost on the northern side toget to the optional areawhere you may find this cluster behind a pillar to the right.

Keep going to the end of this optional area and you’llfind the red chest there.

Use the mana rail from the optional area and it’lldirectly take you to this chest.

Can be found behind one of the pillars on the left as soon as youenter the third area.

As you progress in the third area, there will be a secluded path to your left with this red chest.

Termina Island Cave One Guide
The first cave of Termina Island is also fairly straightforward, though you’ll find various pools of water here.These pools will be deep and your characters will get respawned in the last land positionif you drown in them. Instead, you have to use the Gullinboard to get across, which is quite easy to use once you get the hang of it.
At some point, your path will get divided into two and you have to take the path on your right to continue. Here,simply use your board on the mana rail to surf across. In the next room, head all the way to the left and go to the upper platform. Here, you may use the mana string to get to the left part with a Crystal Cluster on it.
Once here, you have to interact with the broken pillar to drop it andcreate a straight mana railto the end of the cave.
2x Antidote
You’ll find it in a corner of thefirst open room in this cavewith a bunch of enemies.
When the path first gets divided in the cave,keep going straightto find both of these items.
Can be found near the broken pillar you have to interact with.
Sea God’s Incense
After the mana rail is fixed, use it till half point and thenjump towards the red cheston your left.
5x Rainbow Drops
Can be found towards the end of the cave on the left side.
Termina Island Cave Two Guide
As soon as you start this cave, you’ll first have to jump across two mana rails by starting on one and thendirectionally jumping towards the other. Continue into the cave and you’ll eventually enter a big room with a bunch of mana rails. As soon as you enter, take the path on the right and grapple across at the end of it.
Keep using your Gullinboard across various mana rails and boosters to get to the top of the areawhere you can enter the final part of the surfaceof Termina Island.
As you get past the first mana rail in the cave, there will be anoptional path to the leftwith water that leads you to these two items.
You’ll find it right after grappling for the first time in the big room.
3x Celadon Clay
You’ll automatically see this chest on a higher platform on your path through this cave.
This one will be found right before the exit of the second cave, andyou’ll also see a pressure platebefore it.
Armament Blueprint: Fireball
Activating the pressure plate above will open the door to this chest andyou can then use the booststo get there.
