If you’re trying to cut back on the candy a little while still enjoying some nice Halloween fun, spend some time with Sofia this Halloween weekend and help her on her hunt for Haunted Treasures in the October dig event forMonopoly Go.
Between9AM EST on October 30and3PM EST on November 3, you’ll be earning pickaxes tokens from other events to bring to Haunted Treasures and help Sofia excavate all sorts of cool Halloween goodies. There’s a new shield skin, a new emoji, and a Wild Sticker on the line for anyone who goes digging this weekend!
How To Play Haunted Treasures
Haunted Treasures is the dig event in Monopoly Go for October, and you’ll be tasked with helping Sofia find all kinds of creepy loot! There are25 total milestone rewardsin Haunted Treasures, with each game board becoming larger and more cluttered than the last. Each pickax you use clears one tile of dirt (assuming it doesn’t have anything like a spiderweb on top of it, doubling its hit requirement, that is), so you’ll need to stock up.
To get to work on clearing out each of the 25 levels in the event, you’ll need tocollect Haunted Treasures pickaxesfrom other events in Monopoly Go that run in tandem with the dig event. You’ll find them in places like:
Thankfully, you might also have some aid fromconstruction molesburied within each puzzle! These little dudes canclear their entire column, row, or an eight-square area around themselveswhen you uncover them, so they’re usually a good goal outside of finding the actual treasures.
There areplentyof prizes in Haunted Treasures that make the event worth playing, including but not limited to anew shield skinfor the creepy holiday called the “Haunted Portrait” skin that features some creepy knight’s armor (received afterboard 11), a neatnew board tokenof a stone statue of Gargoyle Scottie (which comes for finishingboard 20).
And waiting for you at the very end of the event isa Wild Stickerif you finish all 25 milestones before the end of Haunted Treasures event on November 3.A month into Marvel Go, being able to choose any sticker you’re missing to receive right away will certainly help with finishing your rarer collections!
