Sometimes you’ll need them for a sub-mission, but most of the time they’ll be part of a Cooking Challenge’s recipe.
A few of these challenges are mandatory too, so you’ll want to ensure you have ingredients on hand for when they pop up. You start with just a small selection at first, but over time, you’ll get access to more, and if you don’t have the Yen for them, there’s always trading.
How To Get All Ingredients
