Besides having regular story missions inShin-Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town, sometimes you’ll get special ones as you meet more and more people in Coal Town. These are known as Invention Challenges, and they’re all about you helping Yuri build new inventions to help people around her.
These inventions may be strange and unconventional, and perfectly solve a problem, but they don’t just appear out of nowhere. Each one needs special materials to be made, so it’s up to you and Sumi to find enough of them for Yuri, and successfully complete them all for the good of Coal Town.
How To Complete All Invention Challenges
There aresix Invention Challengesin the game, and theyall have to be completedfor you to finish the main story. Each one will need ahandful of rarer minerals and special junk itemsto be created, alongside one main material,Violet Coalite Fragments.
You’ll want totake every Violet Coalite Fragment trade at the Bulletin Boardif possible, as you’ll need a total of 290 for all six challenges.
Yourmain waysof getting all the materials required for any invention will belooking for sparkling spotsaround town, trading for them at theCoal Town Bulletin Board, buying themfrom the Sundries Shop, or later on in the game, winning andgetting high scores in trolley races.
