How To Unlock Mastery Badges

Mastery Badges areautomatically unlockedas you use different equipment and weapons in Black Ops 6. These unlock inthree different tiers, usually for gaining kills with whatever the equipment or weapon happens to be.

In the case of items that aren’t lethal, you earn Mastery Badge progress by killing someoneaffected by whatever the device does; theConcussion Grenade, for example, progresses bykilling enemies that are concussed.

You can only progress so far individually with badges, and levelingpast the gold tierrequiresleveling other items of the same type. As an example, unlocking Diamond Mastery for the Assault Rifles requires earning gold Mastery Badges with seven assault rifles overall.

How To Display Mastery Badges

Mastery badges display how many eliminations you’ve got with that weapon or equipment specifically, and yourthree highest Mastery Badgesareautomatically displayedin your showcase and when you’re on the post-match podium.

However, if you navigate to theBarracks>Challenges>Mastery Badges category, you canchangewhich Mastery Badges you displaymanually.

Mastery Badges In Multiplayer And Zombies

It’s worth noting that Mastery Badges progress separately betweenMultiplayerandZombies, meaning you could have a Diamond Assault Rifle Mastery Badge inMultiplayerbut a Gold inZombies.

The Zombie requirements aregenerally higher than the multiplayer, but it’s also significantly easier to eliminate a zombie than it is to eliminate a player.

Unlocking Mastery Badges in both Multiplayer and Zombies provides you a10,000 XP bonusas well, meaning it’s for just a little bit more than simply bragging rights.
