InVisions of Mana, you will partake in a grand adventure with the young hero Val and his companions. you may organize them in different ways ina three-person party that can take full advantage of their different abilities and skills. Even though there are only five playable members of the party for you to control, you can mix and match over forty-five different classes represented by the eight elements.

Many of the classes you can have them change into also directly change their stats, and these stat changes correlate with their strongest attributes. You may not have a lot of characters to choose from, but the complex class/elemental selections can mean you could have dozens of different configurations in your party for any type of enemy.

Julei is an ancient member of the Sproutling race, even though he looks like a small child. His specialty is healing magic, with his first Class being a Custodian due to his work as the Alm of the Wood. He takes over the support party member Hinna as the main source of your healing throughout the game. He has the magical defense to help the party deal with all forms of elemental danger.

His best class for supporting the party and keeping them from suffering too much damage from enemies is the Scholar class, which is attuned to the water element and helps increase the party’s damage against them. Having him as the fire-aligned Gatekeeper also allows him to heal allies while damaging blows with his hammer. Julei is at his greatest with High Cleric, which is a healing-focused class that not only keeps the party stable but also increases their abilities to heal themselves.

Val is the leading man and hero of Visions of Mana and is a major character you can utilize in any party setup, from the beginning to the end of your adventure. He is the soul guard who came from the Fire Village of Tianeea, and his mission was to escort and protect Hinna on her quest to the Mana Tree.

Val has many different classes that specialize in attack or defense. The best example of a highly defensive class is the Paladin, which allows him to be a greater defender along with supporting allies with abilities. A great offensive class for Val is the Berserker, making him a rampaging threat to any unfortunate enemies. A versatile class that Val can also have is the Weapon Master. This class specializes in keeping Val at a safe distance while using projectile attacks.

Careena is a snarky half-human dragon that lived in Longren as the Oracle. She is vital in the events of Longren Village when she becomes a part of the Wind Dyeing Ceremony and after its resolution, she joins your party. Whenever Careena attacks, her cute little dragon friend Ramcoh will deal with follow-up attacks to damage enemies. In a way, the young dragon acts as an additional party member in the battle.

Careena’s attacks and skills with her fans and spears are vitalin controlling enemy groups and disabling them so the rest of the party can pick them off. Because of her affinity with both dragons and water, the water element Dragon Master is a great class for Careena, making her an expert at taking down certain monsters.

A good class for debilitating enemies for the group is the Dancer class, which gives Careena the ability to inflict status ailments and make enemies more vulnerable. Finally, with the glove weapons, Careena can be a skilled fighter class known as Warrior Monk, which grants her certain benefits while increasing her stats and learning her abilities.

Palamena is the Queen of Ilyustra, the Capital of the Deep.She is an expert in long-range magic combat and keeping foes at bay while supporting her allies.Once you meet with her, and she joins the group in Chapter 2, she becomes your guaranteed offensive magic expert. With magic-infused Flails and formidable, her best classes to use in battle are the Archmage, the Reaper, and the Rune Seer.

The Archmage is efficient at battling and defeating boss monsters. One skill, the Esoterica, ensures that you can do extra damage while utilizing all kinds of light magic against them. The Reaper class is another class that’s greatly effective in battle. As a Reaper, Palamena can drain health from the enemies she defeats and minimize the need for a healer. As a Rune Seer, Palamena can let loose a hurricane’s worth of storming combos and blows.

Katana, Knife, Cane

Morley is skilled at swift, precise, and highly damaging katana attacks.His precision is second to none, and though he can use a bit of magic, it’s much more preferable to keep him as a close-quarters attacker. Along with swift attacks that can make short work of the enemy, Morley can also evade and dodge away from potential injury, perfect for bringing down foes without too much effort.

The classes best suited to make Morley your attack specialist in the party formation are Samurai, Nightblade, and Ninja Master. As a Samurai, he can strike enemies from a decent distance due to the intense attacks of his katana. The Nightblade class gives Morley extra effects when critical hits land in battle, giving multiple strikes where it counts. Finally, the Ninja Master class gives Morley an arsenal of knives and shuriken to keep enemies off guard.
