There are numerous quests to encounter while playingBlack Myth: Wukong. Choosing to tackle these quests can reward you with various items, such as crafting materials, new spells, spirits, transformations, or even unlock hidden areas and secret bosses in the game.

However, not all quests are straightforward. You may initially meet the character associated with a quest but might not always know what is required to complete it. Additionally, some quests are missable, which can lock you out of valuable rewards that could aid you in your journey.

How To Start The Purple Talisman Quest

The Purple Talisman quest takes place in Chapter Four, within the Webbed Hollow.

In this quest, you will need tointeract with four different purple talismans scattered around the area.

The Destined One is standing near a shrine and looking at the second Purple Talisman - Black Myth Wukong

Early on, you will encounter one of the sisters, who will assist in unlocking a path related to this quest.

​​​​​​​However, your main objective is simply to interact with all four altars to complete it.​​​​​​​

How To Complete The Purple Talisman Quest

Purple Talisman Location #1

From theWebbed Hollow - The Verdure BridgeKeeper’s Shrine,follow the path to the left sideover the green wooden bridge and then take a left. Shortly after, you will seea tree branch on your right where you can drop down safely.

Once you make the jump, continue forward until you findsome stairs on your left leading up. Climb these stairs until you reach what appears to be a village.

Keep progressing upward until youspot an altar with a purple glow. Approach it to trigger a cutscene where you will meet the same sister you encountered earlier.

After the cutscene, you will be able to interact with the purple talisman at the altar,so be sure to interact with it before moving on.

Purple Talisman Location #2

As part of the main progression path in this chapter, you will reach theCliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine.

Justa few steps before arriving at this shrine, you will notice a second purple altar talisman.Be sure to interact with it.

Purple Talisman Location #3

For the third Purple Talisman location, start from theRelief of the Fallen Loong shrineandmake your way up and to the left, following the path ahead.

This path,marked by a few torches, will eventually lead you to the third altar.Don’t forget to interact with this altarbefore proceeding to the final one.

Purple Talisman Location #4

Once you reach the end of Chapter Four at the Keeper’s Shrine calledTemple of Yellow Flowers - Court of Illumination, instead of heading to the right side where the boss awaits,proceed to the entrance directly in front of you inside the temple.

Climb the stairs to findthe final Purple Talisman.

After interacting with all four talismans, a cutscene will trigger, andyou will be attacked by the boss, Supreme Inspector. This is a challenging fight, but you don’t need to defeat him completely.

Simplyreduce his health to around 20 percent, and he will fly away. Once he departs, you canloot the golden box in front of you, which will reward you with aCelestial Nonary Pill.
