Hopefully you haven’t gotten sick of all the colorful gemstones this week inMonopoly Goas we carve our way through caves looking for them alongside the Crystal Treasures event, because Follow the Fortunes continues the vibrant trend. This weekend, you’ll be rolling for the corner tiles to earn points for Follow the Fortunes.
The majority of the rewards for Follow the Fortunes, running fromOctober 4 at 11AM ESTuntilOctober 6 at 4PM EST, will be free pickaxes to use during the concurrent Crystal Treasures event in Monopoly Go, with almost 200 free pickaxes on offer this weekend.
How To Play Follow The Fortunes
For this weekend’s center screen tournament in Monopoly Go, Follow the Fortunes, you’ll need to aim toland on any of the four corner tilesaround your current game board. Doing so rewards you withtwo pointsfor Follow the Fortunes, in addition to any of the rewards you’d have earned on that spot.
A recent change, you may evenfind replenishment shieldsas you’re rolling to earn points for Follow the Fortunes, too!
To earn points in Follow the Fortunes, you’ll need to land on:
The higherthe dice roll multiplieryou used to land on the corner tiles, the more points you’ll earn for Follow the Fortunes. Your event scores are always multiplied by the dice roll multiplier you used to land on the tile that grants points, so make smart use of manually rolling and boosting the multiplier when you’re near!
Since we’ve still got a whole weekend worth of digging ahead of us forthe Crystal Treasures event, you’ll be receiving plenty offree Crystal Treasures pickaxesfor participating in Follow the Fortunes. Of the50 milestonesin the Follow the Fortunes event, you’ll receive free Crystal Treasures pickaxes for 13 of them, totalingmore than 180 free pickaxes. You could make quite a dent in your 20 Crystal Treasures boards with those!
Outside the pickaxe rewards, you’ll be receiving a more evenspread of sticker packsthis weekend than we have been from the events this week, especially helpful with the beginning ofthe Marvel Go album seasonlast week. There aretwo purple sticker packsto earn during Follow the Fortunes, which you’ll receive atmilestones 45 and 50. It never hurts to start collecting rare stickers for your albums!
