While other games have sidequests,Shin-Chan: Shiro And The Coal Townhas sub-missions for you to complete. These tasks will have you roaming the dirt roads of Unbent Village and the stone pathways of Coal Town, helping out the people you meet with things like finding vegetables or catching bugs.
Not only is it nice to help them out, but they’ll often give you a nice reward for it, and sometimes this can even help out with sub-missions down the line or main missions. Whatever your reason, there’s plenty of them for you to do as you pass the days in Unbent Village.
How To Complete All Sub-Missions
Sub-missions becomeavailable after you complete the first few main missions, and they offer you asource of different materials, such asFluorite and Raw Sapphire.
Several of them are stand-alone, butmost come in a chainand have to becompleted in order,and they can evenunlock new mechanicsfor you, such asVegetables With Grandma One introducing farmingand giving you access to the rest of the Vegetable entries.
While Cooking Challenges are considered sub-missions and may need ingredients from Unbent Village, they’respecific to Coal Town and Yosoi’s Dinerand have separate completion mechanics.
A handful of sub-missions are alsorequired to complete the game, either due to providing you withaccess to an important item, orunlocking necessary ingredients:
Rose, The Little Girl Roadblock

Find Rose’s three friends and get a Secret Word from each of them.
Find Prince, Ace, and Champ andcomplete their first sub-missionsto get their Secret Words: Ger, Zin, and Maga.
