Summary

Y’know what would really bringBaldur’s Gate 3up a notch? Frank Reynolds, AKA The Warthog. Maybe he’d throw some trash at Ketheric Thorm, waterboard the Absolute in a public bathroom, and Eldritch Blast the living Avernus out ofGortash.

Last year, a popular (and incredibly well-made)fan editput Frank Reynold in a bunch of Baldur’s Gate 3 cutscenes, and he fits strangely well. But more recently, Larian Studios itself recreated Danny DeVito in the character creator, complete with some Always Sunny dialogue sprinkled on top.

(Pssst, Larian, cast Glenn Howerton as a companion in your next game, thank you).

Frank Reynolds Is Canonically A Dwarf

Well, technically it isn’t Danny DeVito, it’s Danny Deleto, scourge of the Sword Coast. They appear to be a dwarf barbarian, which given all the barbaric things Frank has done… fair.

Can I offer you an Owlbear egg in this trying time?

If only we could alter the rest of the party to recreate the full Sunny gang. Astarion is Dennis, Shadowheart is Dee, Minsc is Mac, and Halsin is Charlie, naturally. Rickety Cricket has to be Gale, well-kept gentleman who is completely ruined by his ex-girlfriend (which I guess means Dee is also Mystra) and worn down over and over and over again by the awful things the group does. Sorry I cheated on you with Mizora, pal.
