Summary

Baldur’s Gate 3took the gaming world by storm during the summer of 2023 and has remained popular ever since. So popular that some of its characters have been turned intoFunko Pops. Shadowheart, Karlach, and Astarion are the first from your party to be transformed into Funko figures, and all three of the Pops should be available to buy by the end of the day.

Although this is a completely new look for characters many of you have spent a lot of time with for the past 14 months, there’s no mistaking who these Funko Pops are supposed to be. Each of them is equipped with a tiny version of the weapon or accessory they’re best known for in Baldur’s Gate 3 - Karlach has her axe, Astarion is sporting his dagger, and Shadowheart is holding the mysterious artefact.

Even though each of the pops will cost $12.99 when their links go live at Amazon today, Karlach’s figure comes with a little something extra. The tiefling is joined by a Bitty Pop version of Clive, the teddy bear you may have stumbled upon in your camp after Karlach joins your party. Evidence that Karlach really does have a softer side, Clive’s Bitty Pop design makes the bear look like it’s slightly charred. An infernal engine will do that to a bear.

Baldur’s Gate 3’s First Funko Pops Will Be Available To Buy Before The End Of The Day

There is technically a fourth Funko Pop in this first wave of Baldur’s Gate 3 figures - a chase variant of Astarion. Chase variants are slightly altered, much rarer versions of regular Funko Pops. The difference between Astarion’s regular Pop and its chase is the item he’s holding. The dagger in Astarion’s right hand has been replaced by the Necromancy of Thay. A cool little detail, but for any of you who would prefer that version of the Pop, there’s a catch.

There’s no choosing between dagger Astarion and chase Astarion. Chase variants are sent at random which means anyone who buys an Astarion Pop has a chance of their figure holding a little copy of Necromancy of Thay rather than a dagger. It tends to differ from Pop to Pop, but the odds of getting a chase version of a figure are usually about one in six.

Shadowheart, Astarion, and Karlach’s Funko Pops are $12.99 each and will be available to buy on Amazon later today. Links to their store pages will be added to this page once they go live. Hard to imagine they will be the only characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 to be Funko Popped. If you’re able to’t wait for Gale and Laz’ael to join their fellow party members as Funko Pops, they already have Youtooz figures along with Shadowheart and Astarion.
