Summary
Fields of Mistriahas updated to allow you to increase your relationship with the people of Mistria to four hearts, instead of the previous two. With these relationships going further, you now have access to the romance candidates' four heart quest cutscenes, giving you a chance to become better acquainted with the residents you may one day romance.
Some heart events made us hopeful for a future with our candidate of choice. Others made us feel wary of what the future holds. Some simply fell flat. However, these are only the second heart events. Romance still has space to blossom even in the unlikeliest of places.
10Juniper
Horsing Around
You go to the bathhouse to act as Juniper’s test subject, just as you promised you would. She tries to turn you into a dragon, but messes up and turns you into a horse instead. At the very least, she’s able to turn you back into a human, and Dozy is there for a few pets.
Juniper is untrustworthy and self-centered. She clearly looks down on you and doesn’t respect you at all. A proper romance isn’t built on those grounds. Some people may be into that, but most aren’t. Hopefully Juniper will get better in her future heart events. We can only hope.
9Hayden
Extra Feed
Hayden gotsome extra animal feedin his shipment, so he’s offering you some. While you’re there, you say hello to Henrietta. Hayden admits he’s worried about the chicken’s bad behavior and wants to socialize Henrietta better. You suggest giving Henrietta a day out and about. Hayden likes the idea and decides to get some books on the subject so he can do his best at this.
Henrietta is a good chicken, so it’s only natural Hayden wants the townsfolk to like her. However, free animal feed and a socialized chicken does not make for a good heart event. It feels like anyone could have taken your spot, except March. If Hayden wants a good farmer-to-farmer romance, he’s going to have to try harder.
8Eiland
To The Ruins!
Eiland found more clues about wherethe next piece of the Dragonsworn’s armormight be hidden. He asks you to meet him at the Western Ruins to help look. You eventually find the Dragonsworn’s helmet hidden on the outer wall of the ruins facing the seaside cliff. This discovery comes with more clues to translate. Eiland will let you know when you know more.
While learning about the Dragonsworn could be interesting, there is little romance to be found here. It’s merely an archeological expedition. Eiland is grateful for your help, at the very least. You don’t even learn much about the Dragonsworn in spite of your efforts. All you learn is that even their armor was said to keep areas safe, likely why they were hidden across Mistria.
7Adeline
A Rewarding Choice
Adeline invites you to her office to let you know that, thanks to your efforts, Mistria will receive a special earthquake care package. Adeline is stuck between two options. First, everyone could receive a stockpile of wood and stone for their personal projects. Alternatively, everyone would receive a cookie care package. Her brother prefers the latter option. No matter which option you prefer, Adeline values your opinion.
While Adeline is still very work-oriented, this cutscene shows she cares deeply about your personal feelings and opinions. Thanks to your efforts, Mistria is improving by leaps and bounds, but that’s just part of why Adeline values you so much. There’s been definite growth since her last cutscene, to be sure.
6Valen
Batch 312
For a piece of peat, Valen shows you her basement again and gives you a proper explanation. Valen comes from a long line of doctors who’ve made many advancements in the medical field. Valen is personally trying to recreate her ancestor’s panacea which can cure anything, but hasn’t had much luck. You try her latest attempt, but it makes you pass out. Valen uses her last panacea she has available to save you, but now she’s completely out.
We’re happy to finally have a proper explanation of what’s going on with Valen’s basement. She clearly trusts us to keep her secret, and she needs our help if she wants to recreate her ancestor’s panacea before it’s needed again. Lucky for her, you’re more than happy to help.
5Reina
Shopping Buddy
Reina is looking for ingredients that will really wow the judges at the cooking competition, and she’d like your help to find them. You head to Holt and Nora’s grocery store and take special notice of the thyme Valen grew. Holt adds a little something extra: the rare but delicious Dragon Horn Mushroom. Reina uses it to make something simple but delicious, capturing Mistria’s natural charm, but that little dish makes you hungrier. Luckily, there’s some curry downstairs Reina can warm up for you both.
Reina relies on you to help make the most delicious dish possibly to help elevate Mistria’s cooking. You can sense how much she trusts you to help with this special task. Together, you’re sure to cook up something truly wonderful.

Many Hands Make Light Work
Olric and March’s hands have been full with a recent influx of work, so they need some help. Olric decides to ask if you’d be willing to lend a hand. March isn’t so sure at first, but he slowly opens up to the idea - even if he doesn’t want to admit it. March does admit, however, that you definitely helped. No, never mind. His tsundere tendencies kicked back in.
March is slowly opening up to you. He ends up saying a few kind things to you while sober, which is a definite improvement, even if he does get flustered by it. Slowly but surely, March is starting to like you, whether he wants to admit it to himself or not.
3Ryis
A Sapling
Ryis realizes he was getting ahead of himself with the birdhouse idea. To bring Mistrian bluebirds back, they first need a place to nest. Balor brings him the finest Hawthorn sapling to plant in the eastern ruins. You’ll both have plenty of time to work on the birdhouse while you wait for the tree to grow.
Ryis clearly relies on you for this project. He desperately wants to bring the birds back to Mistria and is willing to even act silly if it has even the smallest chance of bringing them back faster. Luckily, you’re with him every step of the way. Trees take time to grow, and love needs time to be fruitful. Luckily, both you and Ryis are patient.
2Balor
An Open Book
Balor invites you to his room at the inn to discuss business potentials. When you get there, you find he left his journal lying out, revealing his plans to continue helping Mistria improve and his reaction to Nora’s distrust. When you talk to him, Balor admits that, though he likes living here, he eventually plans to leave both Mistria and you behind.
Balor fans, eat your heart out. His mysterious charm is better than ever with the now added desperation caused by an inevitable parting. You can’t help but wonder if there’s any way to convince him to stay. Maybe your love is the key.
1Celine
Water And Soil
Celine has slowly been translating her book, but she needsa real farmer’s touchto help figure out how much water and nutrients her seed needs. Thanks to you, the seed miraculously sprouts. Celine is sure of it now: this is the seed from her childhood.
Celine trusts your judgment as a farmer but, more than that, she trusts you to record your progress so far. This little seed is only starting to sprout, but you both are sure one day it will blossom beautifully, just like your potential romance.
