The Healer is a quintessential MMO role, and inThrone and Libertythe healer is one of the most important members of any party. One of the issues with healers in MMOs is typically they fall down when it comes to completing solo content, but in T&L, your damage scales off of your base stats - this means you can still do solo content even if you’re going straight into Wisdom for mana regen. You’ll still put out plenty of damage with your Wand and Bow combo.
We say Wand and Bow because that’s the optimum Healer build we’ve found so far in the game, but Wand/Staff is also viable. We will update this guide with more information as we, and other players, get to grips with the game.
This is a work-and-progress build guide for a Healer in Throne And Liberty. We will update this guide with an endgame build. This should be considered as a leveling build guide.
The Wand/Bow Healer Build
Let’s dive right into the best Healer build we’ve found so far: the combination of Wand and Bow.
The Wand
This is the source of themajority of your heals- but interestingly, not all of them - and it also provides some decent AoE clear for solo content.
The Wand comes with two fantastic Healing skills available right from the start, which are ideal for a Healer leveling build.
Swift Healing
A simple spell that restores a percentage of the targeted allies' health. It can be repeated twice, quickly. The absolute staple skill of any healing build.
Clay’s Salvation
A large AoE heal that applies healing to all party members within range. This has a longer cooldown and should be used more sparingly. Can be the difference between wiping in a dungeon or managing to survive.
If you’re in a group or guild that’s active and completing content, you’re able to beginleveling these Healing skillsas a priority.
If you’re instead racing through solo content, trying to level as quickly as possible while also trying to gainmastery experienceon the Wand, you might want to try maxxing out some of the damage-orientated Wand skills.
The main source of damage comes from theCursedebuff you inflict on enemies with a combo of your skills and yourPerfectdefense skill, Chaotic Shield.
Touch Of Despair
Applies a curse debuff on an enemy, can stack up to three times. This applies damage-over-time and a weakness debuff that increases your allies' damage against the target.
Curse Explosion
Causes an explosion that deals extra damage to cursed enemies - i.e, extends the curse duration.
Chaotic Shield
If you hit aPerfectdefense, Chaotic Shield inflicts Curse of Despair on all nearby enemies and reduces cooldown of curse skills.
The main rotation is to stack Touch Of Despair then use Curse Explosion to clear groups of enemies together. Chaotic Shield provides extra AoE clear, as well as Healing when the skill transforms into ‘Healing Spell’ after hitting aPerfectdefense.
For the Wand, you want to head down theRecoverymastery tree, level up yourHealing passives- particularly ‘Devotion and Emptiness’, and focus onMana Regengear and accessories. Mana becomes a problem when you’re spamming skills.
The Bow
So why is the Bow such a good companion for the Wand? Mostly because it provides great solo-target damage for clearing content on your own, but it also has a range ofSupportfeatures that provide buffs and cleansing for your party.
Healing Touch
Grants a healing regen effect to allies, can be stacked up to 3 times.
Increases both health and mana regen and removes weaken effects.
Purifying Touch
Removes a debuff from a targeted ally - if you successfuly remove a debuff, you grant extra attack speed to that ally.
Alongside the healing abilities, we also takeEnsnaring Arrowas it will root enemies in place, and even for bosses who are immune to snaring, they’ll instead be inflicted with theShackledebuff.
Level 50 Healer Build For PvE Dungeons/Bosses
Once you’ve managed to hit level 50, you can start to really customize your builds. You can have up tothree slotsof skills saved. This build is a pure healer build for PvE dungeons and group content.
Enchanting Time
Fountain Of Life
This puts a lot of priority onkeeping your party alive.Skills like Fighting Spirit Barrier and Invincible Wall provide more than just healing but allow your tanks to sustain even more damage.
