Added with the launch of Vessel of Hatred, the Spiritborn is a mid-range fighter that uses the power of the Spirits inDiablo 4. By channeling different Spirit types, the Spiritborn has unmatched versatility in battle, and can combine different Spirit types for potent results.

The Spiritborn has dozens of different Legendary Aspects to experiment with, ranging from all-around powerful options to more build-specific Aspects that empower certain skills. Below, we’ll take a look at a few of the best Legendary Aspects for all types of Spiritborn builds.

7Aspect Of Unyielding Hits

Casting a Gorilla Skill adds [21-36]% of your Armor to all attacks for 3 seconds. Maximum 1,500 bonus Weapon Damage.

The Aspect of Unyielding Hits is one of the highest damage increases available on a single Aspect. When you use any Gorilla skill, a percentage of your armor is added as a modifier to your weapon damage, increasing it by up to 1,500.

The player casting Armored Hide to grant themself a barrier.

The bonus only increases for three seconds, but by choosing the Gorilla Spirit as your primary Spirit Hall choice, you’re able to keep this bonus active at all times thanks to the Spirit Hall making all of your skills Gorilla skills. This makes Unyielding Hits a universally useful damage increase for any Spiritborn build.

6Aspect Of Redirected Force

Gain increased Critical Strike Damage equal to [30-70]% of your Block Chance. Blocking doubles this bonus for 10 seconds.

One of the Spiritborn’s strongest defensive skills is Armored Hide, which gives you 100 percent Block Chance when activated. When combined with the Aspect of Redirected Force, you can have Armored Hide double as a damage boost, providing guaranteed Blocks that also greatly increase your Critical Strike Damage.

While this Aspect definitely performs much better in builds with high innate Block Chance, like the Rock Splitter Gorilla build, it’s also perfectly viable to slap on any build using Armored Hide, which is most of them.

5Aspect Of Interdiction

Gain [1-15]% Block Chance per Resolve stack.

The Aspect of Interdiction has the fairly simple effect of increasing your Block Chance per stack of Resolve, but when combined with the Aspect of Redirected Force, you’ll start to see some extremely good damage increases as well.

Once again, this Aspect works with Armored Hide to not only provide strong defenses, but also great offense too. You don’t necessarily have to use Interdiction and Redirected Force together, but the combination of these two Aspects is often too strong to pass up.

4Duelist’s Aspect

Maximum Ferocity increased by [1-5].

Ferocity is a Spiritborn-exclusive buff that increases your attack speed by four for each stack, and by default, stacks up to four times, for a total of 16 percent increased attack speed. With the Duelist’s Aspect, you may increase this cap to nine, which can then be increased further through the secondary Spirit Hall Jaguar choice or with The Hunter Ultimate skill.

This Aspect may seem simple, but allowing you to gain more attack speed with each stack of Ferocity leads to greatly increased damage output. Getting the highest roll on this Aspect is very important, though.

The player standing in a Mystic Circle created by the Forest Power Legendary Aspect.

3Aspect Of Forest Power

Lucky Hit: Up to a 25% chance to create to create a Mystic Circle for 10 seconds. Casting a Gorilla Skill in Mystic Circles empowers them to periodically grant you a Barrier for 25% of your Maximum Life which increases your Armor and Maximum Resistances by [5-25]% while active.

The Spiritborn has access to four different Aspects that create Mystic Circles on a Lucky Hit. Each Aspect then provides a different effect for casting skills of a certain Spirit type within the Mystic Circle. The best part is that you can use all four of these Aspects together and combine all of their effects when casting in a Mystic Circle.

The Spiritborn summoning the Centipede Spirit with The Devourer Ultimate skill.

Of all four of these Aspects, Forest Power is definitely one of the strongest, at least defensively. Casting a Gorilla Skill within a Mystic Circle will grant you a strong Barrier while increasing your armor and resistances. Again, when combined with the Gorilla primary Spirit Hall choice, you can easily maintain this bonus any time a Mystic Circle is created.

2Aspect Of Binding Morass

Close enemies or those you deal indirect damage to are Slowed by [30-70]% for 3 seconds. You deal 20% increased damage to Slowed enemies.

The Aspect of Binding Morass is a decent damage increase to close enemies, providing increased damage against slowed enemies while also providing the slow effect needed to trigger this damage boost.

The player casting Scourge, summoning the Centipede Spirit, with the Menacing Aspect creating a poison aura.

Binding Morass can also be used with a few different Centipede skills that also inflict slow, increasing the range of viable situations where this Aspect increases your damage. Overall, the Aspect of Binding Morass isn’t build-defining by any means, but a lot of the time it’s just useful to have.

1Menacing Aspect

Scourge continuously affects enemies around you for [5-9] seconds.

By default, Scourge blasts the area around you upon activation, poisoning and fearing enemies away from you. With the Menacing Aspect, Scourge’s effect will persist around you for a few seconds, continuously applying poison and fear in the area.

The Menacing Aspect works the best in Centipede-based builds, but it can also find a home and builds that use poison to activate other effects, like healing or thorns. Scourge is already a very strong defensive and offensive ability, and the Menacing Aspect makes it a great deal better.
