A new trailer forBleach Rebirth of Soulsat Xbox’sTokyo Game Showshowcase has confirmed that the game is aiming to launch in “Early 2025”.

Although most anime gaming fans have their sights solely set onDragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s long-awaited release in just a few weeks, there’s much more on the horizon, such as Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact, and arumoured sequel to Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. More excitingly than that, though,is the first console game for Bleach in more than a decade - Rebirth of Souls.

Earlier this year,Bandai Namco announced Bleach Rebirth of Souls, a new 3D anime fighter that’s based on the first couple of story arcs from the Bleach manga. Ever since that reveal, Bandai has done exactly what it did with Sparking Zero and displayed “Wishlist Now” at the end of every trailer instead of announcing a release window.

Bleach Rebirth Of Souls Will Release In “Early 2025”

That’s finally changed today, though.Xbox just hosted a showcase as part of Tokyo Game Show 2024, which featured a surprising amount of announcements and reveals. One of the biggest (for us anime fans, at least) was the confirmation of Bleach Rebirth of Souls' release window, which was shown at the end of a new trailer for the game.

As was reported by a leaker earlier this month, Bleach Rebirth of Souls is aiming to launch in “Early 2025”. We didn’t get a more concrete release date than that, but considering it’s just been listed as “Coming Soon” for the past few months, it’s a step in the right direction, and gives fans something to look forward to after Dragon Ball’s next big outing.

It looks like it’s going to be a busy year for anime fans,as Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact is going to release at some point in 2024.

Beyond the release window, the trailer for Bleach Rebirth of Souls didn’t show off much that we hadn’t seen before and mostly just showed Ichigo taking part in several fights. For those that don’t know,Rebirth of Souls has a rather unique approach to its arena fighter style, as its one-on-one battles are made up of several segments and seem to go on a lot longer than they usually do in other games.
