By the time you reach the third door in the Desert of Doors inPersona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer-, you’ve probably readjusted to playing the game again, and as such, difficulty starts to ramp up here in the Caina door. Enemies are tougher, and floor maps get more winding.
You’ll finally have the whole SEES roster available to use in your team starting in the Caina door, with Mitsuru finally rejoining the team. Play with your team configuration and find what works best, since you’ve got three sections of the Caina door now to fight your way through.
Caina Overview
Finally, once you’ve reached the Caina door in the Abyss of Time in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis, you’ll finally regain access tothe full roster of charactersavailable in the DLC, sinceMitsuru rejoins the partyfor this dungeon crawl.
She’slevel 37when she jumps into the active party and specializes in bothIce magicandstatus ailments, while dealingSlash damagewith her rapiers, so you’ve now got multi-target Ice moves in the roster if you didn’t get any for Aigis (Metis levels out with just single-target Ice skills).
In all, there are20 floors in Caina, the first door that’s segmented intothree partsinstead of just two like the last few doors have been. As always, there areMonad doors to openalong the way, as well as rare Shadows to fight and Greedy Shadows to catch up with.
By now, you’ll have begun finding treasures inside of Twilight Fragment chests that may seem a little confusing - these areitems to use with SEES at the dorm. Each one offers the chance forat least one character to learn something new.
This is typically how you unlockyour team’s characteristicsin the Episode Aigis DLC, like you didin the Linked Episodesback in the base game. These characteristics are the best way to enhance what your teammates are good at. Yukari, for example, sees a drop in the SP cost of her healing magic.
Reaching the end of the Caina door in Persona 3 Reload unlocksAkihiko’s memory(and alsotriggers “The Determined One” trophy). You’ll also find thatMetis unlocks a new Theurgy move, dealingsevere Strike damage to one foe, whileFuuka learns to replenish HP/SPas her Theurgy move.
Enemies And Bosses In Caina
You’ll find some slight overlap between the enemies in each door that unlocks in the Caina door, with the same few appearing in the next section. Fuuka often remarks that the enemies are getting tougher, so stay on your toes.
If an affinity isn’t mentioned specifically in the table below, it means that that Shadow takes normal damage from that damage type. Additionally, any Shadow marked with an asterisk is one of the red tough Shadows.
