Ever wanted to seeAstro Botin the shower? First off, that seems kind of creepy, but second off, you’re in luck! Bathhouse Battle features lots of showering for our plucky Astro, as well as Bots, Jigsaw Pieces, and a Black Hole. You can say that’s why you’re here, but we all know the real reason you came to the Serpent Starway was for the showers.
Bot 1
As soon as youenter the level, there is abot hanging to a cliffover a wooden bridge. Bash it, and that’s one bot down, six to go.
Jigsaw 1
Once you get your water powers,squirt water at the sapling ahead of you to the right. As it flowers, thefirst jigsaw piecewill also appear. And it isn’t even in season.
Bot 2
When you come to aoil slime enemy guarding a cave, you need to squirt water to defeat it. Before heading through the cave though, you’ll finda bot trapped in the oil off to the left- they only appearonce the enemy itself has been defeated.
Bot 3
As you get through the cave, there isa bamboo seesaw off to the right. Squirt water to fill it,making it tip, then run along it while regular sized to reach a new area wherea bot is under attack. Bash the enemies, then bash the bot, and the day is saved.
Jigsaw 2
When you take outthe two fire enemies to activate the larger shower(this is what you came for, I know), head to theright side wall of the entrance- right as you face away from it - and squirt water toclean the oil from the mural. Once it’s all gone,a jigsaw piece will appear.
Bot 4
After that,head left and squirt the saplingin the ground to grow a bamboo stalk. Jump from leaf to leaf and at the top isa chill bot lying down. It doesn’t seem like it needs rescued, but bash it anyway.
Black Hole
To progress from the area with the bamboo, you need to head to the right andsquirt the sponges to make a staircase. Once you do,don’t go straight ahead. Instead, soak up the pool anddouble back through the torii gate and onto the cherry blossom tree. From here,squirt water at the furnace to extinguish itand jump down to find a loose wire that leads to a black hole.
Leaving by this route ends the level early, but also unlocks a new level in the Lost Galaxy. As you’re able to’t return to here from later in the level, we recommend exiting via the black hole now and repeating the level to grab the final collectibles.
Bot 5
Once you’re back, this time you will go straight ahead after the sponge stairs. Cross the metal beams while in regular size, then go tothe right corner of the roof to bash the fifth botto safety.
Bot 6
Just after this in thearea with the sponge towers in crates, there arethree fire enemies off to the right. Squirt water to extinguish them, thenbehind their podium is a Shibito from Siren(sometimes called Forbidden Siren). Now, this is just me, but maybe the Shibito don’t need rescued? I know, I know - your precious Platinum. Fine, bash them then.
Jigsaw 3
Speaking of sponge towers in crates, there isa fourth tower to the right of the one you start onthat you don’t need to touch in order to reach the ledge - but you should jump to it anyway as it hasthe third and final jigsaw pieceon it.
Bot 7
After this, you’ll seea fabric circle of a flaming face. Soak up water andstand on it to tear it, leading to a portal underground with lava. You need touse your water power to spray water and make a bridgeall the way along to rescueKutaro from Puppeteer. You know, Puppeteer? Look, he wouldn’t kill you like the Shibito would, so just rescue him, okay?
