The Fan Club is one ofAstro Bot’s shorter stages. As a result, you will only need to rescue five bots and uncover two puzzle pieces. However, despite being a short one, you’ll find that the new mechanic isn’t lacking in novelty, and you will absolutely encounter some sneakily hidden collectibles along the way.
The core mechanic here involves utilizing wind-powered platforms that you can extend at will to move vertically through a towering structure in the sky. We’ll show you where you need to launch Astro with the aforementioned extendable platforms to find all the collectibles contained within The Fan Club.
Bot 1
You will reach a portion of the stage that will require you to pullopen a shutter door soon after the game teaches you the basic mechanic for this stage. Once you have that door open, instead of heading to the right, go left.You will find your first bot hidden there.
Bot 2
You will reach a section of the stage where there are giant fans lining both walls.In the left corner of the room, you will have the ability to raise a platform up and down.In the right corner, you will be able to extend the platforms left and right (ignore that section for now).
At a glance,it will look like extending the platforms in the left corner will kill you, but if you are standing on the platform at the back, it will raise you up to the second floor(instead of being driven into the spiked ceiling). On the second floor, you’ll find the Mudokon Liberator Bot.
Bot 3
Once you reachthe section of the stage with a grass-covered platform(and one of those electric guitar-playing UFOs),you’ll find this bot buried in the right corner of the grassy platform. There will be a pile of leaves on top of them, making them hard to see. Just punch away the leaves, and pull the bot out of the ground.
Jigsaw 1
This puzzle piece is floating on a platformbesidethe grass-covered platform where you found the third bot. Jump over to it.Unfortunately, as you do, a UFO will snag it. Pull the cord to reveal an extendable platform, hop on and extend it to launch Astro, then chase the puzzle piece down on the platform above.
Bot 4
In the area after the grassy platform,you’ll see the Mudokon Minion get snagged by a UFO right before your eyes. After that, you will hop on a five-by-five grid of extendable platforms. Look up, and you will see that UFO dangling your bot buddy.Simply launch yourself at them when they are above you, give them a whack, and you will rescue the Mudokon Minion.
Jigsaw 2
This jigsaw puzzle piece is on the floating island that isnext to that massive grid of extendable platforms. So, after you rescue the Mudokon Minion, launch yourself up to this island.Yank the cords you’ll find to reveal the second puzzle piece.
Bot 5
Upon arrivingat the stage-ending podium, you will find the Mudokon Follower being chased by a Spiky Bot.Bat the bot away, and then snatch the Mudokon Follower up to claim every last collectible in The Fan Club stage!
