Monoliths inOnce Humanare high level dungeons spread throughout the map that contain particularly difficult bosses. As the players explore the playale map, they travel further into the newer map regions where they discover new locations and settlements. Every new map region contains a new monolith that can be completely explored.
To completely explore a monolith settlement, you are given a checklist of points of interest (POI) and tasks that must be completed to receive full rewards. In this guide we have detailed how you can easily find all the POI in the Gaia Cliff Military Base monolith.
All Gaia Cliff Military Base POIs
TheGaia Cliff Military Baseis the areasurrounding the Gaia Cliff Monolithin theBroken Deltamap region. The Broken Delta is thesecond map regionthat you explore as a part of your transition from early-game to mid-game.
There is no game mechanic that can restrict you from exploring the military base earlier than planned, asall players are free to explore all points of the mapas they please. However, ensure that you are close to the recommended character levelfor the area, which is level 15 for this specific settlement.
According to the natural progression of the game, you’ll eventually head to the Gaia Military Base in the late exploration stagesof Broken Delta. Here areall the POI that you must look out forin this area.
Whilethe game only lists five POIto completely explore the area, there are three additional hidden crates as well, which can be a bit tricky to find. Once you are ready to explore this area, head to coordinates (4555, -6030) to get to the entry checkpoint for the Gaia Military base.
Before going to the Gaia Military Base, make sure tostock some explosives like grenades and Molotovs in your inventory. You will need these items to get the hidden crates located in the base.
Gaia Military Base Normal And Elite Enemy Locations
As you make your way towards the monolith by the checkpoint at the entrance, you will encounter several level 15 Rosetta militants.Eliminating them on your way will automatically complete your objective todefeat 15 normal enemiesin a matter of minutes as they are thoroughly populated throughout the area.
The elite enemy, however, is stationed at the entrance of thebuilding near the coordinates (4581, -5980).Once you are done with the normal soldiers and snipers, head to the building marked by these coordinatesto face the level 15 Rosetta heavy soldier.
In case you are overwhelmed by the mini-gun damage dealt by the Rosetta Heavy soldier, thentry to take out the nearby smaller enemies firstfrom a distance to reduce the number of distractions. Additionally, alwaysremember to use your telekinetic hand to throw nearby explosive barrelsat stronger enemies to deal more damage.
Gaia Military Base Mystical Crate Location
Once you have defeated the elite soldier guarding the gray-colored building at the Gaia Military base located near (4581, -5980), you can now safelyclaim the Mystical crate on its roof. However, there is no clear passagewayto get to the roof of the building from ground level.
This means that you mustget to an elevated pointwith the building in your view so you can safely glide to the roof. A suitable point for this maneuver is thenearby teleportation tower located at (4527, -6013).
Once youactivate the tower, move towards the cliff and thenglide back down to the Mystical cratelocated on the roof of the building.
Gaia Military Base Gear Crate Location
After acquiring the Mystical Crate from the roof, look across the road towards the sniper’s nest at the coordinates (4541, -5926).The gear crate for the Gaia military base is located at the elevated platform on this location. Cross the road from the rooftop and thenclimb two flights of stairs. You willfind the gear crate on your left.
Gaia Military Base Rift Anchor Location
Now that you have checked the first four items on the list, thelast remaining task is to activate the Rift Anchor. In a non-intuitive fashion, the Rift anchor is completely hidden under the Gaia Cliff Monolithin a hidden facility.
In order to get to the Rift Anchor, headto the entrance tunnel of the hidden facility located at (4497, -5784).Once you are inside the facility, turn right andkeep going straight until you see large tree rootscovered in yellow tarp on your left.
Make sure toclear all your corners, asthere are many Rosetta soldiers hiding along the wallson both sides who will attack you as soon as you appear.
Once, youfollow it downwards towards the center of the compound. You will find theRift Anchor located right at the base of the giant roots (4548, -5952).
Before you head outside,go to the left end of the facility from the entrance.Keep goinguntil the path comes to an end. Here you willfind another additional Weapon Crate (4593, -5798)right in front which is not on the exploration list. The crate is covered in vines, so use your Molotovon the vines to burn them and loot the crate.
Gaia Military Base Extra Weapon And Gear Crate Location
Although your exploration is officially complete, there are still two crates hiddenin the military base which you can loot. These are located above ground,so you will have tomove out of the facilityto get to them.
Hidden Weapon Crate Location
After looting, the additional weapon crates inside the facility, head outside, andclimb upto theedge of the facilitynear thecoordinates, (4577, - 5823).Although these coordinates are similar to the ones on your Rift anchor, the crate is actually right above the cliff’s edge on top of the facility.
Thestardust pollution is severein this part of the settlement, so verify tobe quick to loot the crate as your maximum health will be temporarily lowereddue to prolonged exposure.
Once you reach these coordinates, you will see a purple-colored rock formationnear the edge of the cliff in the direction of the monolith.Use an explosive grenadetodestroythisrock formation. After you destroy the rock formation,a Weapons Crate will appear in front of youwhich can be looted.
Hidden Gear Crate location
Once you have collected the loot from the Weapons Crate, head towards the monolithandcross its boundary wall. After crossing the wall, turn leftandmove towards the entrance of the boss roominside the monolith.
Make sure towatch your surroundings while looking for the remaining crates,as the enemy respawn rate is relatively fast in Once Human, which means thatthe enemies you eliminate will most likely be backonce you head outside after exploring the hidden facility.
Once you are inside the structure, turn rightandenter the first room on your right. The hidden gearcrate will be in the back of this room.
