Ghouls And Bots is one of those horror-themedAstro Botlevels. You’ll see a lot of familiar design elements in this one. Most notably, the light bulb makes its triumphant return. However, this time around it is a little more slippery, evading your grasp.
The focus in this stage is more on the confrontations than the platforming. You will face off against a series of ghosts, culminating in a boss battle of sorts where you will be manning a spotlight. However, there are also another five bots and two jigsaw puzzle pieces to locate. We’ll help you find each one of them so you can focus all your energy on dueling the dead.
Bot 1
Extremely early in the stage,there will be a well filled with dirt in front of a tree on your right. Perform your spin attack while standing in the center of the well, and you will dig down into the area below.Here you’ll find the first bot.
Bot 2
You will reach a closed gate, and will once again be able to use a light bulb to illuminate hidden blocks. However, before moving forward,throw that light bulb at the tree to your right.That will free the second bot.
Bot 3
Once you are inside the castle, you will need to hop from concealed platform to concealed platform while holding the light bulb. However,in the left corner of the room, you’ll see a gargoyle. Ride the revealed blocks as close to the gargoyle as you can, and you will eventually see the path that leads directly to it, then, once you are on that path, throw the light bulb at the gargoyle.This will reveal the Fragile Knight Bot.
Bot 4
By following the main path forward,you will eventually find yourself facing off against a ghost while the light bulb flies left and right. Once you reach this section, take out the ghost, then grab another light bulb and look to your left. You will see a massive cauldron. Toss the light bulb at it,and it will topple over and spill everywhere, which will reveal the blocks in front of it. Platform across to it and you will rescue the Eternal Knight Bot.
Jigsaw 1
There is almost no trick to this one. In the same area where you threw the light bulb at the cauldron, grab the light bulb and platform across the massive gap. The puzzle piece will be clearly visible.Once you land on the spinning block, leap over toward the jigsaw piece,and you should easily claim your prize.
Jigsaw 2
This second puzzle piece is pretty easy to locate.Just near the end of the level, you will climb a glowing rope. Climb that rope straight to the ceiling, then turn around.You will see the second jigsaw piece waiting for you in a small room. Just hop over and grab it.
Bot 5
The final bot is just sitting out in the open after you beat the boss. Consider the Impractical Butcher Bot a prize for all your hard work!
