Afterour little trip to IrelandinBroken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged, we’re heading back to Paris to catch up with Nico and continue to unravel the mystery of the costumed killer and how the Knights Templar is involved.
We’re tackling this walkthrough by just explaining the core instructions you need to progress, but we do recommend stopping to take the time to explore other items and conversations to see some of the extra information and comedy the game has to offer.
Back In Paris
After uncovering the latest clue in Ireland, you’ll find yourself automatically back in Nico’s apartment telling her all you know. End the conversation with her and head to the map, from there,go to the Poste de police.
Speak with Sergeant Moueandask him about Marquet(the old man who was meant to receive the gem). Speak to himabout Marquet againto learn about the hospital he has been taken to.
Return to the map andchoose the Hôpitalas your next destination.
Hospital
Once you arrive at the hospital, head inside andspeak with the receptionist at the desk.
Show her Moerlin’s electrician pass cardand she’ll tell you where to find Marquet. After that,speak to her about Nurse Grendeluntil she gives you directions to Ward J2.
Next,head down the hallway on the leftof the reception desk.
Walk past the guy waxing the floor andunplug the power cord from the left side of the statue.
As the old man goes to plug it back in,click on the door next to the polishing machineto bag yourself a doctor’s jacket.
Exit on the top left of the screen, down the hallway opposite the power cord, to find yourself in Ward J2. Nurse Grendel will greet you andgive you the blood pressure gauge. You’ll immediately have to talk to a patient but simplyend that conversation.
Marquet’s room is to the bottom right of the screen.attempt to head that way, but the nearest patient will stop you and ask you to take his blood pressure. Unfortunately, George doesn’t do it right.
Return to the hospital entrancenear the receptionist (it’s the top right exit from where the floor waxer is) andspeak to Felix Hagenmeyer, the older doctor standing there,and he’ll ask you to allow his nephew to accompany you.
End the conversationandreturn to the room where you tried to take the patient’s blood pressurewith the nephew, Benoir, in tow. Nurse Grendel will direct you back to the same patient.
End the conversationand thengive Benoir the blood pressure gauge from within your inventory. Next,speak to Benoir and select the gaugeanddirect him to use it on Eric, the patient who keeps stopping you.
Now you’re free towalk to the right of the screentowards Marquet’s room andthrough the door.Speak with Marquetuntil a doctor comes in and interrupts you.
After a short cutscene, you’ll be back in Nico’s apartment.End the conversationwith her and return to the map, as we want tohead to the Musée Crunenext.
Musée Crune
Head inside the museum andafter you’ve ended the conversation with the security guard, you want tospeak to the blonde man at the back. This is André Lobineau, the man Nico was on about.
Choose tospeak with him about Montfauçon, the image of the hanged man, until the icon disappears, then end the conversation.
Use the handle to the left of the casesto open the window, then as the security guard goes to close it,head to the sarcophagusat the back and hide inside.
Once you gain control again,interact with the totem poleto push it on Flap and Guido. Afterwards, you’ll be back in Nico’s apartment, soend the conversationand head back to the map. This time, we’regoing to Montfauçon!
Montfauçon
In Montfauçon,go and speak to the juggler, or jongleur as he prefers, and keep asking him about himselfuntil he lets you try(and fail spectacularly) at juggling.
Afterwards, end the conversation and go andspeak to the policemansitting at the table.Show him the clown nose, thenend the conversation.
Go back to the juggler andask to juggle again(by choosing the icon of the juggler). This time, you’ll wear the red nose and the crowd finds it hilarious, making the juggler leave in a strop and the policeman leave also.
Now you canuse your sewer key on the manhole coverthe juggler was standing on (the tourists apparently don’t care) andhead down into the sewer.
In the sewers,cross the bridgeto the other side anduse the sewer key on the leftmost stone panel.
Interact with the mechanismthrough the broken panel a couple of times to make the panel move slightly.
Use the wheel handle on the boatto unwind the chain, thengrab the hook and chain and attach it to the mechanism. Return to the wheel handle on the boat andinteract with itto rip down the rest of the panel.
Head through the archwayand thenlook at the light coming from the gapat the back of the cave,notdown the stairs.
Do not follow the steps down unless you want to meet an untimely end.
After the cutscene,peak through the gap again.Now, it’s safe tohead down the stairs.
Use the tripod on the pedestal, thenplace the gem on topof that.
You’ll automatically return to Nico’s apartment afterward, soend the conversationand thenhead to the Aéroportandchoose Syriaas your next destination.
