Afterour second visit to Spain, we’re on the final part ofBroken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged, all of the clues and adventures across the globe have led us to here, Bannockburn in Scotland. This is where we will finally unravel the mystery of the Knights Templar.
As always, though our walkthrough will focus only on the essential interactions you need to perform to progress, we do recommend exploring a little to experience the game to its fullest, especially taking advantage of George showing people random stuff in his pockets.
Aboard The Train
On the train, you’ll immediately be thrown into a conversation with Nico, butend the conversationandtry to leave through the door. The conductor will arrive, and once that conversation has finished,interact with the door again to leave.
Go left as far as you canand you’ll spot Guido, after whichreturn to your compartment(the one to the right of the guy in the black and white Newcastle shirt). You’ll find it’s empty.
Leave this compartmentandgo into the one on your left, where the main is sitting.Speak to the football fanwho is drinking andask him about Nico. Afterwards,end the conversationandopen the window, thengo outside.
Don’t touch the Pantograph or you’ll die.
Go right and then down the ladder, be careful as there’s another chance for George to die here. Once you have control,quickly use the emergency break button to your leftand afterwards, you’ll immediately start speaking with Khan.
End the conversationandattempt to leave the carriage. Nico will remind you to untie her, and then afterwards,leave the carriage for real through the door on your left.
Bannockburn Churn Ruins
After you leave the train, you’ll find yourself in the church ruins at Bannockburn. That’s some handy luck, it’s exactly where you need to be.
Go inside the churchandsearch through the rubble four timesto find a clay pipe, a metal coin, a cog, and a plastic pen top.
Interact with the handleand George will break it, thenpick up the cogfrom the broken contraption.
Put the two cogs in the gargoyle’s eye sockets, thenuse the lever on the gargoyleand it’ll go right in its mouth. The door opens!
Head insideand then continue down thepassage on the left.
After the finale cutscene, once you regain control of George,grab the torch to your left. Now it’s time to sit back and watch the fireworks. Well done, you’ve completed the whole of Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged!
