Cyberpunk 2077has three different openings, depending on your Lifepath. These determine how your character meets Jackie while introducing you to the setting of Night City. However, now that we’re almost four years on from launch, most of us have probably been through all of these and would be interested in something new.
That’s where this new mod comes in. New Start from Cyberpunk 2077 modder Deceptious will introduce you to key characters in a completely different way, seemingly kicking off the game much faster.
Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Creates A New Intro
As you can see, the mod works by giving the player a completely new introduction to Night City. Here, it seems that V returning after some time away, and is already acquainted with Misty, Jackie, and Vik.
Deceptious has previously explained that the mod’s dialogue is not AI-generated but actually comes from other parts of the game. They’ve also shared the script they’ve put together with this method, telling a new story with lines that are already in the game files.
Deceptious has worked ona ton of Cyberpunk 2077 modsbefore, mostly focused onadding more immersion to the game, so it will be interesting to see how this turns out. They’vesaidthat this isn’t the same as adding a new Lifepath, but you’ll be treated as both a Corpo and a Nomad with this mod.
