The story ofDeltaruneis a long one. The episodic RPG title from indie legend Toby Fox released its first chapter six years ago today. Since then, only one more chapter has come out, leaving fans rabid.
While the wait has been arduous, Fox has now confirmed that Deltarune’s third and fourth chapters will be launching next year.
Deltarune Chapter 3 And 4 Release Window Finally Confirmed
Last month, Foxthat Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 were effectively complete, saying, “Regarding Chapters 3&4’s development, I have personally completed everything I can actively do for it. Now, all I can do is wait for localization and testing.” But, unfortunately, the developer stopped short of revealing any release details.
Chapter 3&4 will 100% come out in 2025. The specific time is still relying on localization and console porting.
Thankfully, in anew poston Twitter, Fox shared another update, this time with a release window, saying:
“I’m very eager to show you what we’ve made since 6 years ago. Chapter 3&4 will 100% come out in 2025. The specific time is still relying on localization and console porting. Please hear me clawing at the door, trying to escape the shallow coffin I have been buried in.”
This news will likely be music to fans' ears, with Fox stating in May thatthe release is still “quite far” away. It seems, by that, he meant around a year.
With Chapters 3 and 4 all but ready to go and a release window now confirmed, Fox said that work on Chapter 5 has begun and will be the “main focus” for the team going forward.
