It’s hard to quantify the sheer impact the originalDoomhad on the video games industry. It’s been over 30 years since the first game, and we’re still getting new entries into the series, like the upcomingDoom: The Dark Ages.
As a celebration of the series, Bethesda announced the $80 Doom Anthology collection, which features six games from the series, and comes with a five-inch replica of the iconic BFG. This must-have collectible for Doom fans is now available at a number of online stores.
30 Years Worth Of Doom
Doom Anthology will include six games, namely Doom, Doom 2, Doom 64, Doom 3, Doom (2016), and Doom Eternal, and an exclusive Steelbook case. However, the highlight of this collection is evidently the highly detailed five-inch replica of the BFG. It features LED lights and is modelled after the version seen in Doom (2016). The collection also comes with a stand so you can show off the BFG and keep pesky demons away in fear.

WHERE TO PLAY
The Doom Anthology includes six games from throughout the series' history - Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 64, Doom (2016), and Doom Eternal. The games come in a Steelbook and include a replica of the BFG. That’s the weapon, not the Big Friendly Giant.
However, what will probably drive many potential buyers away is the fact that despite featuring a Steelbook case, Doom Anthology does not come with a physical game disc. All six of the games are digital downloads. So, you’re going to have to find something else in the case – hopefully you have an old disc of one of these games lying around somewhere.
Doom Anthology looks like a great way to play through the Doom Slayer’s journey before getting to Doom: The Dark Ages. Besides learning about his history and demon killing ways, you’ll also get to see how the game and the designs of some of the iconic demons have evolved over the decades.
The Doom Anthology is available now onPlayStation,Xbox,Nintendo Switch, andPC, and will unfortunately only ship to US and Canada.
