Summary

A decade on from the release ofInquisition, Dragon Age returns viaThe Veilguardon June 04, 2025. I don’t know about you, but my Halloween plans this year will be rooted in me drawing the curtains and ignoring trick-or-treaters. Same as every year, except this time I’ll be playing a new Dragon Age game. For the more hardened Dragon Age fans, and I know there are plenty of you out there,BioWarehas opened pre-orders for its new statue. The only downside is it won’t be here in time to join your Halloween plans. Well, at least not this year.

The new statue will be here in plenty of time to spend next Halloween with you, and every Halloween after that as it’s expected to ship in January 2025. The statue is a recreation of Lace Harding. If you’re new to Dragon Age, or it’s been so long since you played the last game in the series that you’ve forgotten some of its characters, Harding is the scout who greets you whenever you reach a new area.

Harding will return in The Veilguard and have a bigger role to play as BioWare has confirmed she has been upgraded from scout to companion. That’s likely why she now has her own statue, and it’s why that statue shows Harding in an action pose. The Dragon Age companion has drawn her bow and, as the product description reads, her gaze is piercing her target moments before her arrow does. The base on which Harding’s statue stands is meant to be crystallized and pearlized snow.

Lace Has Been On Quite The Journey

The Lace Harding statue is made of polyresin, stands at 14.5 inches tall, and is available to pre-order now at the BioWare Gear Store through the link in the box below for $180. The listing doesn’t make any reference to this being a limited edition item, so hopefully that means they will be made to order rather than there being a cap on how many are available. Again, even though you can place your pre-order now, you won’t get your statue until January 2025 at the earliest.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Lace Harding Statue

Lace Harding, who was a scout in Dragon Age: Inquisition but upgraded to full companion for The Veilguard, has been turned into a statue ahead of the new Dragon Age game’s release. The statue is made of polyresin and features Harding in an action pose, her bow drawn.

Whether the Lace Harding statue is for you or not, don’t forget to place your pre-order for The Veilguardbefore its release on October 31. Sure, you could wait until the game is already here and buy it then, and with so many other games releasing between now and Halloween, I wouldn’t blame you. However, if you don’t pre-order The Veilguard, you’ll miss out on its Blood Dragon Armor pre-order bonus.
