Considering how unbelievably massive Sparking Zero’s roster of 182 characters is, it feels a little greedy to be wanting anything more from it. After all,we’ve got pretty much every character from Z, Super, and GT(sorry,Super 17 fans) that we could have ever hoped for, so who could possibly be left to add?
Well, we actually already know the answer to that.When Sparking Zero’s release date was first revealed, Bandai Namco confirmed a season pass for the game containingthree DLC packs that will introduce more than 20 characters from Super: Super Hero and Daima. Nothing else has been said about the packs since, but their release windows have finally been confirmed now the game has launched.
Sparking Zero’s DLC Pakcs Are Aiming For Q1 And Q2 2025
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has been live for Ultimate Edition owners for more than a week now,but it finally launched for everyone late last night. To mark the occasion,Steam updated its listing for the game and finally gave some more concrete details about the three DLC packsthat are planned for the game right now.
As highlighted by Twitter user SLOplays, the Steam listing reveals that the first pack for Sparking Zero will be, unsurprisingly, focused on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and aim for release in Q1 2025. The second and third DLC packs will both introduce characters from Dragon Ball Daima and are aiming for Q1 2025 and Q2 2025 respectively.
Q1 2025 means the first three months of the year, which means that the Super: Super Hero and first Daima pack will both release by March.
We don’t know yet which characters are planned for each pack, but it’s at least easy to guess the Super: Super Hero fighters. Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, Gamma 1 and 2, and Cell Max are all easy bets for new fighters and it won’t be too long until we get to see them. Still, some players were hoping that Beast Gohan and the like might be released by the end of 2024, so it’s a bit later than expected.
