A skilledDragon Ball: Sparking Zerofan has made Beast Gohan playable through a mod before he gets officially turned into a character as part of the game’s post-launch DLC.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is absolutely packed with playable characters, ranging from obvious picks like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Broly to more surprising ones like Turles, Super Gogeta (Z), andthe deadly Yajirobe. No matter your preference, there’s a character in here for you - unless, of course, you’re a big fan of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
Until the first DLC pack (which is based entirely on Super: Super Hero) for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zeroreleases at some point in early 2025, fans of Orange Piccolo, the Gammas, and Cell Max are going to have to wait a bit to play as their favourite characters. While Beast Gohan is also a part of that lineup, he’s already been made playable by fans thanks to a mod.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Fan Has Modded In Beast Gohan
The mod in question was created by GameBanana user KendoraSageand it applies a Beast Gohan skin to Ultimate Gohan, which makes sense considering he’s the most powerful version. Thankfully, it also gives him the same gi that he wears in Super: Super Hero, which is also used by Adult Gohan as his base outfit.
As you’re able to see from the images above, the Beast Gohan mod looks strikingly similar to how he does in the movie, and likely isn’t far from how he’ll appear in Sparking Zero when he’s added officially. The only thing missing to really make this Beast Gohan is the infamous purple and black aura and lightning, but it’s still the best option we have right now.
Of course, as a skin mod, this version of Beast Gohan doesn’t have any unique moves that make him stand out from the Ultimate Gohan he’s replacing. You’ll have to wait a little while to see the non-Future version of Dragon Ball’s best character use the Special Beam Cannon - at least, until someone mods it into a Beast Gohan skin.
Speaking of Special Beam Cannons, it seems that there currently aren’t any mods to bring Orange Piccolo or his recoloured appearance from Super: Super Hero into Sparking Zero. It likely won’t be long until we see that, but for now you can at least cosplay Gohan in his strongest form.
