Summary

The latest build ofDragon Ball: Sparking Zeroat Gamescom and PAX has confirmed that Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta’s Evolution skill has seen some massive buffs.

As much as I want to see OG and GT Dragon Ball characters in Sparking Zero, by far the most exciting thing about having a new Budokai Tenkaichi game after so long is the addition of fighters and forms from Super.Beerus, Whis, Goku Black, Jiren, and a whole lot more are some of the most interesting charactersthat have been added, but the highlights for most are powerful new forms for Goku and Vegeta.

Seeing as how Goku has both of his Ultra Instinct forms, many fans thought that it would be a no-brainer that Vegeta’s brief Super Saiyan Blue Evolved form that he used during the Tournament of Power would also be taking up its own slot. That isn’t the case, though, as SSBE is actuallyjust a power-up for Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta similar to how Kaioken can be used for Goku.

Super Saiyan Blue Evolved Lasts Much Longer In Sparking Zero Than We Thought

Dragon Ballfans really weren’t happy about this, especially when gameplay clips from Summer Game Fest revealed that he could only use the ability for a shockingly short amount of time. Well, it seems that Spike Chunsoft heard those complaints, as new gameplay of Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta has revealed that his evolved form now lasts a very long time.

The same can’t be said for Super Saiyan Blue Goku’s Kaioken, which doesn’t last long at all according to gameplay from Gamescom.

As shown in the clip above from Twitter user DBSparkingNewsandoriginally discovered by YouTuber Kempan, Vegeta’s “Limits? I break them!” move can now last up to a full minute, giving players a lot more time with Super Saiyan Blue Evolved.Twitter user DBZSkills showed off another clipthat claimed that Vegeta can be in SSBE for around two-to-three minutes.

It’s not quite the same as Vegeta’s most powerful canon form getting its own transformation slot, but it does at least mean it can used in a match more often. We’ll just have to wait and see if we ever end up getting Ultra Ego Vegeta as part of Sparking Zero’s post-launch plans, and then we’ll really be cooking.
