Summary

The final character roster reveal trailer forDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, which confirmed that Cabba was playable, has got everyone arguing and joking about the Saiyan’s strange power level again.

When you think about the strongest characters in Dragon Ball Z, who comes to mind? Vegeta, Goku, and their fused forms,Gogeta and Vegito, are popular choices, but then there are villains like Omega Shenron, godly figures like Beerus and Whis, and even more recent foes like Jiren. Everywhere you look in Dragon Ball, there’s a powerful fighter who makes for a good pick for top dog.

One character that probablydoesn’tcome to mind is Cabba, a Saiyan from Universe 6 who first appears in Dragon Ball Super. Cabba may be young and have the muscle definition of spaghetti (same bro),but he’s actually incredibly powerful and somehow manages to keep up with base Vegeta with little trouble.

Dragon Ball Fans Are Arguing About Base Cabba Again

As you may imagine considering how focused on power levels the Dragon Ball community can be,Cabba’s strange strength has been a source of annoyance for fans over the years and caused many arguments. Those debates have flared right back up again since he was confirmed to be a part of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s base roster last week.

Over on Twitter and Reddit, Dragon Ball fans have spent the last few days sharing a seeminglyendless number of memes and pieces of fan art depicting Cabba as the strongest Dragon Ball character. Most of the jokes haveCabba going up against Dragon Ball’srealstrongest character, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, and having him defeat him effortlessly.

Bandai Namco seemed to get in on the fun by sharing a tweet with Cabba that says, “By popular demand”, poking fun at all of the recent debates.

Of course, this isn’t the first game that’s featured Cabba and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta (as this clip making fun of the situation in Xenoverse 2 shows), but both fighters appearing in Sparking Zero after a ton of doubt has caused fans to start joking about the young Saiyan’s power level again.

After getting the chance to play Cabba for myself at a recent preview event, I can confirm that he’s a decent fighter but nowhere near the level of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and MUI Goku. I guess we can call Sparking Zero non-canon, because he’d obviously clear both of them with no trouble.
