Dozens of players echoed these issues in the comments, withone A Ranker declaringthat “There’s no fun to be had playing against the same characters and same playstyle. I’m just playing casual matches and having fun with people who actually play other characters than Gogeta and Vegito.” The issues were blamed on the game’s story sections, which trainsplayers to “do nothing but sparking-knockback-ult.”
Sparking Zero’s online modes were called “a mess” and “so boring”, with “a lot of glaring issues”. One player shared they are worrying, “It’s going to get worse and worse. Honestly, those strategies are so good, it’s dumb to use anything else.”
