Summary
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2andDragon Ball Z: Kakarotare both going to be receiving DLC packs that add Daima content to the game, with the latter letting you explore the Demon Realm.
I probably don’t need to tell all three million of you that it’s been a good few weeks forDragon Ballfans. Not only did Dragon Ball Daima just kick off earlier this week, but the fourth Budokai Tenkaichi game, Sparking Zero, also launched to massive salesand great reception from fans and critics (it’s me, I’m the critic).
While it might be hard for you to peel yourself away from Sparking Zero’s online battles, it turns out that there’s plenty of life left in some of the franchise’s other big video games. Earlier today,it was confirmed that both Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are going to be receiving content from Dragon Ball Daima, just like Sparking Zero has and will continue to do.
Dragon Ball Daima Is Coming To Xenoverse 2 And Kakarot
The first and most interesting of the DLC packs is the one for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which was teased with a short video showing the Demon Realm. We don’t know too much about the pack yet, but it’ll let us take control of a mini version of Goku and travel through the Demon Realm in a Dragon Ball game for the first time. With Kakarot’s focus on story, expect it to give us a very good glimpse into Daima when it arrives “soon”.
This doesn’t come as much of a surpriseconsidering a Daima expansion was datamined after the most recent update to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Looks like the End of Z saga wasn’t really the end.
Then there’s Xenoverse 2, which we actually got a bit more information on than the Kakarot expansion.Goku (Mini) isn’t part of a Daima DLC pack, but he is coming to the game as one of the new characters in the Future Saga Chapter 2 DLC. A free trial campaign will also be made available for Goku (Mini), meaning everyone can try him out for “a limited time”.
Of course, none of this really comes as a surprise considering how massive Dragon Ball Daima is going to be - of course two of the biggest Dragon Ball games are going to bring in content from it. That’s ignoring the fact thatSparking Zero already has Daima Gokuand is even getting more content from the show in the future.
