Summary
After two months of suffering, withPromised Consort Radahncrushing the hopes of countlessElden Ringplayers,FromSoftware finally nerfed him. While most are happy to see one of the toughest bosses in Soulsborne history finally brought down a notch, purists are outraged, believing that this update goes against the spirit of the fight. So, one modder took it upon themselves to roll back the changes.
Simply dubbed"DLC Radahn PreNerf", the mod comes in two versions — the first reverses every nerf, the second reverses every nerfbutthe changes made to the cross slash attack. If you really want the ‘I beat Radahn pre-nerf’ badge, the mod is pretty easy to install. You just need to run the .bat file inside of your Elden Ring installation folder.
Fans Are Asking This Modder To Do The Same For Starscourge Radahn
As if making one of the hardest bosses inShadow of the Erdtreeharderwasn’t enough, fans are also calling on modder MiquellaTheUnalloyed to do the same forStarscourge Radahn.
Already one of the most notorious bosses in the base game, we find this hulking behemoth riding a comically small horse across an enormous, barren battlefield, literally holding back stars while also firing arrows the size of spears at us. You can summon a small army to take him on, with an entire festival held in honour of battling him, or you can go it alone. But he was so difficult at launch even with dozens of NPC summons thatseveral nerfs were rolled outto try and make things a bit more manageable.
One look at the comments of the pre-nerf Consort Radahn mod and you’ll see players asking for the old Starscourge Radahn to make a return next, so that they can enjoy a double-whammy of bosses so difficult, even FromSoftware was like, ‘Fair, we’ll tone it down.’
