Despite being well into its third year,Elden Ringplayers are trying to uncover secrets critical to the game’s lore. One such secret that’s been bugging the community for a while now is a missing connection between General Radahn and Miquella.
Over the past few months, sinceShadow of the Erdtreelaunched, small slithers of information have slowly become uncovered, linking the DLC’s final boss pairing. Now, though, the most conclusive piece of evidence may have just been discovered, courtesy of theElden Ring Lore TalkSubreddit.
Miquella’s Lilly Could Be The Key Connection
As players reach the climax of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, they’ll encounter the game’s final boss,Promised Consort Radahn. As the fight progresses, Radahn reaches a second phase, with Miquella joining the fight, clinging to Radahn’s back. It’s a connection which, at first glance, seemed a bit random, leaving fans to try and piece together their relationship and how long they’d been connected.
In July, it was noted thatStarscourge Radahn’s cape had a similar emblem to Miquella’s “golden grass motif”, sparking the first connection between the two. A month later,a scrapped quest was found to link the two, with a defender of Merchants, Guilbert, serving Radahn. This quest would been directly tied to Miquella.
This new piece of evidence, which strangely comes almost exactly a month since the last, is arguably the strongest we’ve seen yet.
Miquella’s Lilly is a flower that can be found around The Lands Between, of course, directly linked to Kindly Miquella. Reddit user and Elden Ring playerScum_Mage_Infanoticed that Starscourge Radahn’s bow from the base game is shaped exactly like Miquella’s flower, showing that the two were, in fact, connected since before the launch of Elden Ring’s DLC.
The discovery was dubbed an “Incredible find,” and is surely the most compelling to connect both Radahn and Miquella.
