Destiny 2’slatest Episode, Revenant, has dozens of new weapons for players to chase. From new variants of Tangled Shore gear to reprised Splicer weapons, there’s a reason to hop on and grind the seasonal Onslaught playlist this season. Playlists also received some new weapons, including the likes of Tomorrow’s Answer and Bygones.
Some amazing Exotics have also been added this season, notably Icebreaker from the original Destiny. Nearly every reprised weapon has seen some major changes, so let’s jump straight into the changes. Here is every new weapon you can earn in Episode: Revenant, along with their perk pools and Exotic perks.

New Exotics
Revenant has three new Exotic weapons to chase: Alethonym, Ice Breaker, and Slayer’s Fang.Alethonym is a Primary ammo, Stasis Grenade Launcher.Kills generate Vestiges at the target you’re able to collect. With enough stacks, you can convert your next shot into a Special or Heavy ammo brick for your entire squad. You can earn this weapon from the Revenant Season Pass.
Ice Breakerreturns from the original Destiny, although its passive ammo generation has been reworked into a more active gameplay loop.Kills with other weapons will generate ammo for Icebreaker. Tougher enemies grant more progress towards your next ammo generation. Additionally, kills with this weapon cause the target to explode. If it’s a precision kill,the target will Ignite instead. You can earn this weapon from the new Vesper’s Host dungeon.
Slayer’s Fangis an Exotic Shotgun that fires a salvo of ricocheting projectiles, granting you the DPS of a slug shotgun with the usability of a pellet shotgun. Its Exotic perk triggers on kill, granting the user Truesight, enhanced weapon stats, and a 15% Weaken debuff to this weapon’s projectiles.
Stasis
Exotic Perk
harvester Spike:Final blows create a single Vestige at the target’s location.
Impaling more powerful combatants creates a steady stream of Vestiges from the target.
Trait
Vestigial Alchemy:Gain energy when you pick up Vestiges. Hold reload to fire an ammo brick.
50% energy spawns a Special brick. 100% spawns a Heavy brick.
Solar
No Backpack:Final blows or assists with any other weapon or ability have a chance of creating ammo for Ice Breaker.
Defeating powerful combatants will create multiple rounds.
Ice Breaker:Defeating a target with this weapon causes them to explode.
Precision kills or shattering a frozen target triggers an Ignition.
Nightsworn Sight:Final blows with this weapon grant Nightsworn Sight
Nightsworn Sight grants Truesight, increased reload speed, more precision damage, and infuses submunitions with Weaken.
Heart Piercer:Rounds from this weapon shatter into submunitions on impact, ricocheting off hard surfaces.
Submunitions stagger Overload Champions.
Seasonal Weapons
As with Echoes, there areten new weapons tied to Revenant content.You can earn these weapons from the season’s Onslaught playlist and certain Tonic consumables, a craftable item this season.
Unlike previous seasons,you cannot craft these weapons.Enhanced, double perk variants can drop in Onslaught (similar to the Into the Light gilded drops), but red border drops are not possible.
Dark Ether Reaper Origin Trait
Weapons from this season drop withDark Ether Reaper, which spawns explosive charges on kills. You can detonate the charges with your gun by running into them for a partial magazine refill.

Season Of The Splicer Reissue
Some fan-favorite weapons from Season of the Splicer have been reissued, all of which can drop from the new seasonal content.Chroma Rush, Gridskipper, and Sojouner’s Taleare back with new perks and an origin trait:Splicer Surge.
Splicer Surge Origin Trait
Reloaidng this weapon after dealing damage grants the wielder a stacking reload speed and handling bonus until stowed.

Vesper’s Host Dungeon Weapons
Vesper’s Host has six new weapons to chase, including the reprisedIcebreaker, an Exotic Sniper Rifle that gains ammunition when you land kills with other weapons. There arefour Legendaryweapons to earn, ranging from a 600 RPM Auto Rifle to an Area-Denial Grenade Launcher.

Garden Of Salvation Reissue
Garden of Salvation has received a loot refresh in Revenant, giving each weapon a new perk pool and origin trait. There are some powerful guns in this raid now, notablyAncient Gospel,which can now roll with Kill ClipandRampage. All roll combinations are listed below.
Photoinhibitation Origin Trait
This is a reworked version ofShield Disorient. The weapon deals bonus damage to combat shields and targets with overshields. Breaking a combatant’s shield disorients them; breaking an energy-matched shield also disorients nearby combatants.

Loot Pool Additions
Revenant has a whole host of new world drop and playlist weapons. Some fan-favorite weapons from Forsaken are back, including Bygones, Anonymous Autumn, and Tomorrow’s Answer. Some of this season’s new weapons are also part of new archetypes, notably Arcane Embrace (a two-round burst Shotgun) and Rake Angle (the first Glaive in the Kinetic slot).

Revenant Ritual Weapon
This episode’s ritual weapon isFair Judgment,a 450 RPM Auto Rifle with a solid suite of PvE perks.Rimestealermixed withHeadstonecan be quite powerful when mixed with Stasis Aspects. Precision kills willspawn Stasis Crystals, and breaking said crystals will give you Frost Armor.
For general add clear or PvP play, you’ll want to useDynamic Sway ReductionwithOnslaught.Shots become more accurate as you hold down the trigger, and kills increase your gun’s fire rate for a short duration. It’s not the strongest AR for PvE or PvP, but it’s a solid workhorse if you’re a new or returning Guardian.
