Within the jungles of Nahantu, you can find Tenets of Akarat that will award a small chunk of Renown for the region. Uncover all 30 locations, and you’ll be awarded a new mount skin and an exclusive title.

They don’t grant attribute stats or Paragon Points like the base game’s Altars of Lilith, but these Tenets of Akarat are useful for hitting max Renown in the Nahantu region. In this guide, we explain how Tenets of Akarat differ from Altars of Lilith and showcase all 30 shrine locations, featuring maps and in-game screenshots.

What Are Tenets Of Akarat?

Tenets of Akarat is a collectible you’ll find while patrolling the Nahantu jungle.UnlikeAltars of Lilith, Tenets of Akarat donotenhance your stats or provide Paragon Points.They are simply a means ofearning Renownfor your character. If you find all 30 tenets, you’ll unlock a unique mount skin and title.

Each shrine of Akarat you find will be enveloped in Mephisto’s abyssal tentacles, suffocating the shrine of any light. You’ll need to complete one of three challenges to free the shrine:

There are30 Tenets of Akaratto find in Nahantu, evenly split between its six regions. You’ll findfive tenets per region, as shown in the image gallery above. More specific directions and shrine screenshots are found further in the guide.

Activate all 3 statues.

Northeast corner of the zone, found a short distance north of the Murmuring Spiral dungeon.

Northwest corner of the zone. Head east of Samuk and hug the path.

Light the left and right-most statues.

Dead center of the zone, found in the corner of an L-shaped hill.

Directly west of the Gates of Necropolis. It’s in a ruined town square just under a World Event spawn point.

Kill 3 sets of spirit wolves.

Under the central bridge that links the west and eastern halves of the region.

Light the right-most statue.

Directly east of the Gates of Necropolis. Southeast corner of the zone.

West of the previous statue, and directly south of the Hallowed Stones dungeon.

Southwest of Ichorfall. After you slide down the ladder, hug the left wall.

Northeast of Ichorfall. Run down the cliffside to find the statue.

Destroy the vines covering the shrine.

Near the northeast exit to Teganze Plateau. Found in a shallow pond.

From Statue #3, follow the road west. It’s across the Forgotten Remains dungeon.

Activate the left-most statue.

Southwest of the Forgotten Remains dungeon. Found in a dead-end near the northern tip of the region.

A short distance north of the Sleepless Horror dungeon. Climb down the cliff to find it.

Between the Sleepless Horror and Farai Cliffs dungeons, overlooking the distant mesas.

On the central road that leads from the Field of Giants to Kichuk, east of Farai Cliffs.

Activate the middle statue.

Eastern corner of the zone, located south of the Skatsimi Fane dungeon.

Directly north of the Kurast waypoint. Found in a corner when the road bends in a C-shape.

Northeast corner of the temple ruins near the middle of the region. Exit through the eastern bridge, then head north.
