Fallout 76 Just Got A New Update, Letting You Take On Dangerous Delivery Work
This Caravan system, which comes as part of the A Bump in the Road questline, had been teased prior to today’s reveal but was delayed from the initial release of Milepost Zero on September 3. However, the new quest and tasks that the Caravans add are now ready to go, completing the season 18 update.
As per the update’s description, we’ll be able to set up Caravan outposts around Skyline Valley. From here, we’ll be transporting goods around the map, protecting the deliveries (and the brahmin carrying them) from enemies alongside our crew.
Skyline Valley is the map extension that launched in June. The Skyline Valley updatewas the first map expansion in Fallout 76’s history, but according to the developer, it probably won’t be the last, asmore have been discussed. This is opposed to adding a new map entirely, which the devs are reluctant to do since they believe that players would prefer to stick with Appalachia.
While we don’t have any details on that right now, we do know thatplayable Ghouls are coming to the MMO next year. This will become available as an option via a new quest and will let you play as a Ghoul for the first time in the Fallout series. This update is dropping sometime in early 2025.
