Summary
Fortnitecontinues to add a bunch ofMarvel-themed weapons this season with Patch 14.10, including the already infamousIron Man’s Combat Kit.
This weapon automatically highlights enemies with a red reticle, and has two firing modes — the standard left click attack shoots off little energy blasts, while the right click propels you into the air for a devastating Unibeam blast.
To see just how powerful that blast is,Twitchstreamer NickEh30 lined up 52 other players and fired a Unibeam dead centre. It tore throughallof them, killing each and every one.
Interestingly, It Doesn’t Kill Them All At Once
What’s especially interesting about this clip is that players die in a domino effect, rather than all at once. For an instantly-fired laser, that’s a little strange. Regardless, it goes to show just how dangerous the Unibeam can be in the right hands.
But using the Unibeam leaves you vulnerable and takes a while to charge up. In that time, someone could easily find cover or take you out if you’re not careful. It’s best used on unsuspecting targets from afar, so it’s notcompletelybroken, but it’s clearly one of the most powerful weapons in Fortnite right now.
To boot, it’s easy to get. You don’t need todefeat a bossto get your hands on these, they’re in the standard loot pool and are guaranteed to drop from Stark Industry armor stands at the Mobile Armories. Good luck fending off everyone else trying to get their hands on the gauntlets if you land at one, though.
