Now, fans have discovered another unique interaction.
Wakanda Forever!
As first spotted on Reddit, Shuri has a unique dialogue response when meeting Black Panther in-game. When seeing her brother, Shuri says, “T’Challa! It is good to see you, brother.” Oh, and she does the Wakanda Forever salute.

Naturally, of course, the player who discovered the unique dialogue did the Wakanda Forever salute right back.
As Marvel fans may know,the real-life actor of Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, passed away in 2020 after a long battle with colon cancer. That little bit of information makes the interaction that much more heartfelt considering the real-life circumstances surrounding the Black Panther media franchise.
As one user wrote, “I had no idea, that’s so cool. The small things like that are much better than other things this season. I don’t hate the season, (I) just have some disagreements. But THIS is awesome.”
Indeed, it is awesome and part of the beauty of what makes a game like Fortnite so great. Because as cool as seeing Goku wielding a weapon is, the real cool stuff is the little things that happen that help make the game not only feel alive, but show that it’s being made by people who are deeply invested in the characters and properties behind it.
