Summary
Fortnite revealed that it would be getting its first Lego setsso long ago, you might have forgotten they were coming. After the success ofLegoinFortnite, it was only a matter of time until we got Fortnite in Lego, and the announcement was significant enough that it needed to be announced well ahead of time. More than two months later, the four Fortnite Lego sets that were revealed over the summer are finally available to buy.
There are four sets to choose from, each a Lego recreation of something that is synonymous with Fortnite. There’s the Durrr Burger, a Supply Llama, a rather unique Peely, and the Battle Bus which comes with Minifigure passengers based on some of Fortnite’s best-known skins. Fortnite’s debut Lego set pricesrange from $14.99 to $99.99and are recommended for a variety of ages to suit almost all Lego-building Fortnite players.
What makes the Peely set unique is it isn’t simply a Lego recreation of Fortnite’s sentient banana. Poor Peely has had half of their skin peeled away, somewhat surprisingly revealing a skeleton underneath rather than a peeled banana. Peely Bone seems fine with it though, wielding a gun and holding a banana pickaxe over their head.Peely’s is the biggest of the Fortnite sets at 1,414 piecesand also the most expensive, alongside the Battle Bus, costing $99.99.
Fortnite’s First Lego Sets Are Finally Here
Umm, Is Lego Peely Okay?
Even though the Battle Bus set is almost 500 pieces smaller than Peely Bone, it’s the aforementioned Minifigures that make it the same price as the banana. There are nine of them in there, all of whom will be instantly recognizable to Fortnite fans. Meowscles, Cuddle Team Leader, and a Peely that doesn’t have half of its skeleton exposed are all included. The Supply Llama set is a significant step down in terms of price. For just $39.99, you get a 691-piece set with Lego versions of Fortnite items to stuff inside. Last but not least is the 193-piece Durrr Burger set which costs just $14.99.
LEGO Fortnite Battle Bus
One of the first-ever Lego Fortnite sets, the Battle Bus is a toy brick recreation of the vehicle that flies over the island and drops off 99 players as it goes. The set is almost 1,000 pieces and includes nine Minifigures based on iconic Fortnite characters.
LEGO Fortnite Supply Llama
Part of Fortnite’s first batch of Lego sets, the Supply Llama you whack to get rewards has jumped out of the game and into real-life. You don’t whack this llama though, you build it, and there are tiny Lego versions of Fortnite items to pack inside.
Fortnite’s sets aren’t the only ones available starting today. It’s a very busy day for Lego as this is one of its most important days in the countdown to the holiday season. Lego tends to release new sets on the first day of every month, so October 1 is when it tends to release sets it expects to sell well over the holidays. The Lego Super Mario World set, which features a 16-bit Mario riding Yoshi, as well asthe weird Shadow the Hedgehog bustare also available now.
