Phoenix Springsis an emotional and psychological journey about Iris searching for her brother Leo. After failing to find him at his former residence on Taibao Street, her next destination becomes the University of Life Sciences. While browsing through books on bioethics at the university, an unexpected discovery leads her to an address—Leo’s current residence.
But will Iris find Leo at this house? Is Leo still alive? How are all these events connected? You likely have just as many questions as Iris does. If you’re ready, step into Leo’s apartment, and let this guide lead the way.
How To Unlock The Panel In Leo’s Apartment
Once Iris arrives at 341 Belevedere Heights, the address she found after gathering information about bioethics, she realizes it’s Leo’s residence. Your first step is to approach the gate. Next,select the panel on the left of the gate and ‘Use’ it.Open the leads screen,select ‘Leo Dormer’, and click on the panel again. After a genetic match, the gate will open.
Select ‘House’ and move forward. Once you reach the house,select the door in the shadows and ‘Use’ action to let Iris enter.Inside, the first thing you should do is approach the red note on the table to the left and select the ‘Look At’ action. Next, open the leads screen,select ‘Leo Dormer’, and click on the red note.
You will now gain two new leads:‘Relative M.‘and’Death Threats’. To the right of the staircase in the room, you’ll see a door. Next to it, on the right, there’s a panel. Approach and use it. You willobtain the ‘Panel Password’ lead.On the southern side of the room, you’ll see a yellow light. This is the lift. Click on it anduse the ‘Use’ action to send Iris to the second floor.
Once you’re on the second floor, you need to enter the Living Room on the right. In this room, on the left, you’ll see a large bookshelf. Open the leads screen,select’Sinking The 30 Oars Ship’, and click on the bookshelf.You’ll now add Leo’s’Immortal Morals’book to your list of leads. For now, leave the living room andreturn to the main room.
Go down the stairs, and you’ll see a white card on the floor where the lift used to be. Select the white card and ‘Use’ it. Iris will move it to the table and realize it’s a get-well card. Go back to the door to the right of the staircase.Interact with the panelnext to it. It’s time touse three of your leads in sequenceon this panel:
Since Iris has now attempted enough inputs, the panel’s password will reset. However, Iris will now need to find Leo’s first security question. The answer to this question is Leo’s first published book, and the’First Published Piece’will be added to your leads.
How To Solve The Panel’s First Security Question
Go back upstairs andenter the Living Room again.Look at the terminal, being careful not to select the error message on the screen or the desk. The terminal is located between them. Open the leads screen,select’Bioethics/Ethics of Biology', and click on the terminal.You’ll now see ‘ULS Student Application’on the terminal.
Open your leads screen,select’First Published Piece’, and click on the ULS Student Application.The ULS Application will now be added to your leads. Leave the Living Room once again andreturn to the panelin the main room. Select’ULS Application’from your leads and click on the panel.
How To Solve The Panel’s Third Security Question
The second security question is about Leo’s mother’s birthday, but Iris remembers it, so you don’t need to solve that one. There’s only one more security question remaining, but it’s not really a question:‘Grasshopper Lover’. To figure out what this means,return to the Living Room.
In the southwest corner of the room, you’ll see a statuette similar to the one you saw at the university, belonging to the grasshopper. Open the leads screen,select’Grasshopper Lover', and click on the statuette.You’ll retrieve the ‘Insect with Harp’lead once again.Select this newly acquired leadfrom your leads screen andclick on the terminal.
You’ll now add’Tithonus’to your list of leads. Approach the table in the center of the room, and on the left side of the table, you’llsee the green book,‘Immortal Morals’.Select your newest lead,‘Tithonus’and click on the book.You’ll now acquire the’Eos’lead. Finally, return to the main room and approach the panel.Select your final lead,‘Eos’, and click on the panel.You will now find Leo.
How To Find Phoenix Springs In The Desert
After discovering Leo in a completely unexpected way, all of your leads will disappear, leaving you with only two:‘Leo Dormer’and’Phoenix Springs’.Just like at the beginning of the game, Iris will once again find herself sitting inside a train. Head to the train door and select Use. After the door opens,proceed toward the Desert.
After exiting the train, you’llsee a red station in the distance,move towards there.Select the boyat this station and talk to him. During the conversation,select’Leo Dormer’, and you’ll gain the’Crying One’lead. Continue the conversation andselect’Crying One’to obtain the’The One-Oh-One’lead.Leave the boy’s side andselect south to head toward the Desert.
You’ll return to the area by the train. Now, all you need to do iskeep moving to the right. After moving right three times, stop and look at the background. In the distance, you’llsee a rock formation resembling the numbers 1-0-1.Open the leads screen,select’The One-Oh-One’, and click on the rocks.Iris will now find the green oasis at the heart of the desert.
