In Chapter 13 ofThe Casting of Frank Stone, you continue to face the terror that emerges. In the previous chapter, you were in 2024, but now you find yourself back in 1980 at Cedar Steel Mill. The teenagers who came here for filming have encountered the horror of Frank Stone, and he will not relent in his pursuit, driven by his sole purpose of satisfying his hunger to kill.
If you fail, Frank Stone will continue to kill everyone. Are you ready to face the terror? Will you be able to stop Frank Stone? Does stopping him have any connection to 2024? The answers are here in our guide.
How To Complete Chapter 13
Chapter 13 begins with Linda and the other characters inside the Furnace Chamber at Cedar Steel Mill. When Frank Stone appears, all the characters panic and try to escape. At this stage,depending on the characters present, one may die:
Events
Result
If Jaime died in Chapter 5 and Chris decided to stay in 2024
Nothing happens, and no character’s life is in danger.
If Chris decided to stay in 2024 or died trying to return to 1980
Jaime will fall during the panic. If you can’t ward off Frank Stone using the camera with Linda, Jaime will be killed by having his head crushed.
If Chris is present during the event
Frank Stone will target Chris. If you can’t ward off Frank Stone using the camera with Linda, Chris will be killed by having her head crushed.
No matter the outcome, Frank Stone will capture Bonnie and kill her by hanging her on a hook. Unfortunately,there is no way to save her from this fate.
After this event, the characters from 2024 will watch Bonnie’s death on the film projection screen. At this point, if Madison is in the room,you have the option to CONFRONT herwith Linda. If you choose this, your relationship with Madison will improve by one level.
Alternatively, you can choose OUTRAGED and claim that none of this ever happened. While these events unfold, Augustine Lieber will enter the room.
You will then return to 1980. As you may remember from Chapter Five, Robert went to call his father after discovering Frank Stone’s lair. In the continuation of this chapter, Robert and Sam will arrive at Cedar Steel Mill. Sam will not want Robert to go inside.
Sam will then enter the Furnace Chamber alone. Move straight ahead and descend from the metal platform. Here, you will witness the massacre scenario in the Furnace Chamber from the beginning of the chapter, along with Bonnie hanging. Robert will join Sam, and as a result,Sam will enter the storm drain aloneto try and rescue the surviving teens.
After descending into the storm drain, Sam’s objective will be updated to finding the surviving teenagers. Move forward from your starting point and turn right. You’llfind the camera on the ground in front of a crack in the wall.Pick up the camera and then pass through the crack ahead of you.
Move forward and turn right. Climb up the stairs to your left. Then turn left and move a bit through the orange-lit hallway before turning right. Continue forward and jump over the wall.
After jumping over the wall, turn left and proceed down the corridor. At this point,Frank Stone will appear.If you cannot ward him off, the 1980 version of Sam will die.
WhileSam’s death has no effect on 2024,it does impact this chapter. If Sam dies, youwill not find Chris and Jamie in the storm drain. Also,Robert will take the camera.
If Sam repels Frank Stone at this point, continue moving forward in the corridor where you encountered him. On your right, you’llsee a wall with an orange light in front of it.Jump to the other side of this wall, and you’ll reach a white-lit corridor. Move forward a bit and look down to your right to find a Rellik called Spirit. Continue progressing down this corridor.
If you turn to the left, you will find Jamie. While trying to save him,Frank Stone will appear.If you fail to ward Frank Stone off with the camera at this stage, Jamie will die.
If you save Jamie, you will unlock the ‘Escape Artist’ achievement.
If you fail to save him and he dies, you will unlock the ‘Memento Mori’ achievement.
After finding Jamie, leave the white-lit corridor and return to the main hallway to start searching for others. Headtowards the wall with the red graffiti.
As you approach the wall with the red graffiti to find Chris, you willsee an area with an orange light on the left.Head down the stairs from there andpass through the crack in the wallto find Chris. After speaking with him, Sam will tell Chris to hide. As a result, your relationship with Chris will improve.
After finding Chris, return to the red graffiti wall. Then,turn right and go down the stairs.Turn right again and continue down the hallway. At this point, you will need to ward off Frank Stone once more. If you fail to repel him, Sam will die, and Robert will take the camera.
Once you repel Frank Stone,jump over the bloodstained wall to your leftand open the door. This will lead you to the area where Linda is.
If you linger in the hallway too long, Frank Stone can respawn.
If you haven’t found it already, you can discover a Rellik here.Head straight downthe corridor where you encountered Frank Stone again and turn right.Go through the crack in the walland, on the ground in front of the metal drawers, you will find a Rellik called The Wraith.
When you reach the room where Linda is, you will attempt to save her, but Frank Stone will enter the room again, andyou’ll need to use the camera to weaken him.This scenario will vary depending on who is present in the room:
If Sam did not die in the storm drain
Sam will weaken Frank Stone. You will need to succeed in the QTEs for this.
If Sam died in the storm drain:
Robert will weaken Frank Stone.
As a result,you will face a final stand against the weakened Frank Stonein 1980. At this stage, whoever has the camera will have one last chance to stop Frank Stone. The outcome of the event will depend on your success in the quick time events:

If Sam failed to weaken Frank Stone, Linda will have the camera. If you succeed in using the camera, Linda will stop Frank Stone.
Linda failed
If Sam failed to weaken Frank Stone, Linda will have the camera. If you fail to use the camera but succeed in the QTE, Robert will distract Frank Stone to save Linda and then stop him.
Linda killed
If Sam failed to weaken Frank Stone, Linda will have the camera. If you fail to use the camera and fail in the QTE, Frank Stone will kill Linda.
Sam killed
If Sam succeeded in weakening Frank Stone in the first phase but failed to use the camera in the second phase, Sam will be killed.
Sam defeated Frank Stone
If Sam succeeded in weakening Frank Stone in the first phase and also succeeded in using the camera in the second phase, Sam will stop Frank Stone.
In this chapter, there are many ways that characters can die, but no matter what happens, the characters will manage to stop Frank Stone. The impact of these events on 2024 will be revealed in the next chapter.
