There are so many incredible creators within the gaming world. Whether it be an entire team or a single person, they have created decades' worth of ideas and work that have been made into reality for all of us to play.
This article isn’t about what is lacking in the gaming world, it is about what is to come and what there could be. There is still so much fun to be had with the games we already have and games to look forward to. So without further ado, here are a few video games that somehow don’t exist yet.
8Dinosaur Horror Game
Become The Bottom Of The Food Chain
The world of science is advancing fascinatingly, specifically in paleontology. There have been ongoing projects for reconstructing dinosaur noises. While the roars and calls we hear in movies like Jurassic Park are horrific, the reconstructed noises are hair-raising.
Having an open-world video game where the players are placed in a dinosaur-infested area using the reconstructed dinosaur noises would be spine-chilling. A realistic dinosaur horror game where you have to try and survive the night in a forest surrounded by dinosaurs would be amazing.
7Karen Vs. Manager
Start A Retail Throw Down
There’s a Karen simulator, and there are manager simulators, but what about a Karen Vs. Manager simulator in the style of a street fighter game? The option to be able to customize your Karen and Manager, or a good character selection has to be a must.
You can select if you want to either be a Manager or a Karen and wander around the store until your opponent picks a fight, immediately launching into battle. If you win, you can fight stronger opponents. If you lose, you should have to prepare to take on previous or the same opposed accordingly.
6Hunger Games
Survive Panem
The Hunger Games has been a popular series since it was released, growing more so as more books and movies have been released. Even though there are games like Minecraft that have copied ideas of it, there is no official game.
While it is easily understandable thatnobody wants to create a gamewhere children have to fight to the death, there are a lot more interesting aspects of the world than The Hunger Games. Like surviving in corrupted and harsh Districts in fear of mutated animals and The Capitol.
5Dive Bar Bouncer
Clean Up The Bars
In honor of the late Patrick Swayze, how slick would it be to have a game about going around to different dive bars and improving them? Imagine you are the best of the best, being commissioned all over the country to clean up rowdy customers and unruly employees.
The goal would be to clean up the bars, redecorate, and maybe build relationships and connections along the way. It would be a wonderful opportunity to use the cell shading cartoonish art style to recreate the grainy and noir vibe to make a beautiful game.
4Nun Horror Game
A Different Role For Nuns
There are plenty of games and movies where nuns are either possessed or absolutely terrifying, but what about a game where you are one of the nuns trapped in the confines of a church? Religious horror, when done right, can be fascinating and scary.
In this case, acorrupted or demon-infested churchwhere spirits and poltergeists are a normal occurrence would be idyllic. Whether you have to escape the church without alerting evil spirits or assisting your fellow nuns and priests to expel any horrors, a role reversal would be interesting.
3Storm Chasing Game
Chase Storms Remotely
Storm chasing in real life isn’t for everyone, it can be a dangerous feat and scary nonetheless. But what if you could do it in your room on your computer? To be able to create a team of storm chasers to chase tornadoes, hurricanes, and other major weather events.
It could be a mission-based or an open-world exploration game, trying to track where the next severe weather instance will be. Maybe there are multiple headquarters all over to maximize the amount of weather phenomena to experience.
2Star Wars Horror Game
A New Side Of Star Wars
A Star Wars-themed horror game would be a fun twist in the franchise. There is plenty of opportunity for something truly terrifying to be lurking on adark planet like Umbaraor perhaps getting involved in a nasty crime syndicate on Nar Shaddaa.
It could be a third-person with open-world elements, where you play a clone or someone who gets stranded on a planet. Either dealing with the horrors of nature or the frightening people who you will have to deal with. There is plenty of opportunity for a horror twist on Star Wars.
1Avatar Game
Master The Elements
The universe ofAvatar The Last Airbenderis a fascinating world with people who can bend the elements and cute animal hybrids. There are several games in the franchise but, they are mostly focused on the original gang.
An MMORPG Avatar game where people can customize their character and what element they want to bend. Team up with players to take on some evil force that has come to arise. Maybe the game could take place during a different Avatar’s lifetime besides Aang and Korra so we get to see the world in another time period.
