Summary

Helldivers 2has beengetting a lot of cool new additions recently, thanks tothe recent release of the Turth Enforcers Warbond, bringing with it a couple of fancy new armor sets, weapons such as the SG-20 shotgun, and some swanky black and red patterns for mechs and drop pods. It’s a pretty great Warbond, and Arrowhead decided to throw even more additions into the game on top of that, releasing the leaked ‘Doubt Killer’ armor set in the Superstore.

However, not every Helldivers 2 player is thrilled with this new armor set, as while it’s got a great design and coloring, a lot of people are starting to get a little irritated with the pricing of cosmetics in the Superstore. One such player is Reddit user N-Haezer,who claimed on the Helldivers subredditthat the pricing in the Superstore is “getting more and more ridiculous”.

Helldivers 2’s Doubt Killer Armor Pricing Has Upset Fans

They’ve got a pretty solid case too. If you want to grab the full Doubt Killer armor set and banner, you’ll need to stump up 925 Super Credits, which is actually just shy of the 1,000 Super Credits you need to buy a full Premium Warbond. Take into account the 300 Super Credits you earn by making your way through the Warbond, the Doubt Killer Armor set actually costs more than a Warbond, which is a little ridiculous when you consider it’s just one set of armor and a banner.

One Reddit user named Call_The_Banners even speculates that this armor set was originally intended to be released in the Truth Enforcers Warbond, but was pulled out and sold separately, pointing to the fact that Warbonds in the past have had three armor sets in them. Of course, we have no proof this is the case, but it is suspicious that most Warbonds have had three instead of two.

A lot of fans are also upset that no heavy armor has been included in the Truth Enforcers Warbond either, which has been further compounded by the release of the Doubt Killer armor, which is also medium armor. Thankfully,Super Credits can be earned in-game, so Arrowhead doesn’t have a full-scale riot on its hands just yet, but it’s clear that a lot of fans are starting to get a little fed up with Superstore inflation.
