Summary

I know some of you won’t want to hear this, but summer is over and it’s officially okay to start preparing for the holidays. Hey, I don’t make the rules. You’ve got two options. Either bemoan that it gets earlier every year and fight it every step of the way, or embrace it and enjoy that Christmas starts in September now. Leaning into the latter is a lot easier if you’re aHello Kittyfan as Loungefly has just revealed its Winter Wonderland Sanrio collection.

Sanrio is the company responsible for Hello Kitty, but as is demonstrated by this new range, she is far from Sanrio’s only popular mascot. All of the major players, including Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, are featured on Loungefly’s new merchandise. The Winter Wonderland Crossbody bag has those three characters - and Keroppi - peeking out of stockings hanging above the fireplace. The bag’s strap has been designed to look like holly with a red bow and costs $70.

The Winter Wonderland mini backpack has a very similar design. In fact, everything in the range does with Hello Kitty peering through a wreath on the front rather than hanging in a stocking, although the fireplace is still there with an adorable sleeping dog lying in front of it. You’ll have to look a little harder for Hello Kitty’s supporting cast on the backpack. Look on one side and you’ll find an excited Cinnamoroll peering through one window, and turn the bag around to see Sanrio looking through the other.

Loungefly’s Sanrio Winter Wonderland Collection

Whether you’re looking for something smaller, or to complete your Sanrio Winter Wonderland look, there’s also a wallet that has been designed to match both the backpack and the crossbody bag. The same color scheme with Sanrio’s cast of characters in holiday gear posing on the front. All of the characters are also featured in a set of Christmas pins, and if you want something a little different, but still from the same collection, Loungefly is also releasing a Melody Wonderland backpack and a Sanrio holiday sweatshirt.

Just because it’s almost the holidays, that doesn’t mean you have to stick to holiday Sanrio merch.Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll all got new Dreamland Squishmallowsover the summer, all of which would make perfect holiday gifts for the Sanrio fans in your life. Razer has alsoteased a worldwide release for its Kuromi PC accessory collection. No guarantees, but it would be pretty mean to ask where people want it and then not follow up.
