Epic’s delisting follows on fromPlayStation quietly doubling the price of Zero Dawn’s Complete Edition. Prior to the remaster’s reveal, you could buy Zero Dawn on the PlayStation Store for $19.99. That posed a problem for PlayStation as if it left the price that way, it would have provided the opportunity to buy the game for $19.99 and upgrade it to thePS5version for $9.99. Since standalone copies of the remaster are $49.99, that would have meant a potential saving of $20.

Horizon Zero Dawn Is No Longer Available On The Epic Games Store

The Listing Will Likely Be Replaced By The Remaster, Possibly As Soon As Today

Even though Zero Dawn has been delisted on the Epic Games Store, it’s unlikely it will be removed from the PlayStation Store. The biggest reason for the remaster is to give the PS4 version of the game a PS5 makeover. That means the remaster cannot be played on PS4 and if the original game was removed, no one still using a PS4 would be able to buy it. On PC, the remaster can replace the original version of Zero Dawn as PlayStation doesn’t have last-gen players to cater to.
